Fine for a family meal but not much else. Some weird ingredients put together that didn't taste very good. Ridiculously huge helpings of food which did not look very appetizing at all. Visit this restaurant if you are really hungry and don't care what the food tastes like.

I use to eat here nearly every 2nd week but than one night I go there with the family and plus 7. We ordered 5 seafood platters and what did we get. 5 seafood platters that contained, chips a 1 prawn and guess what. That was it. Than I aapiched the waiter who didn't want a bar of it. So the manager came over. Now as I'm a chef I don't like to use that to my advantage but, when a manager says to me " well look how busy we are, just except what we serve you". I cracked it. Than he says to me "we don't have any seafood left so we just gave you guys this. I said to him " why didn't you just tell us I would have ordered something else. Than he just yelled and yelled and yelled. We walked out and went the the kebab shop across the rd. Great me thanks kebab people. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
The rule is the customer is always right and I know sometimes they are not. But in this case god damn we were. I have never been so angry just for a family dinner

Approximate cost: $24.00

Excellent service and the food portions were very generous and fresh and delicious. It is a terrific family place, a little noisy but great for a family meal.

Pretty average experience. Staff vary from pretty good to average. Food portions are decent for the price.

Been here a few times for dinner. The prices are cheap and the service can be good and bad - depending on which waiter you have. Everytime I have ordered the pastas I felt ill the next day. The lasagnia was too salty. The gniocchi was too doughey and had way too much garlic on it. Stick with the pizzas.

Approximate cost: $15

If you eat in you will enjoy this place but forget about take a way. On several occasions they have gotten the order wrong. so much so I forget about using them for a take a way order. I once went in to order over the counter and when I got home I noticed it was the wrong pasta I ordered. I called a few times to order pizza and pasta and again they have made mistakes. Its a shame because the food is good but I was sick of the mistakes. When you eat in you will enjoy your food. The place is a bit noisy though when busy due to the large area and hard wooden floor which wont absorb any noise.

I like eating here. I really don't like the Camberwell one (see my rating) but the South Morang Sofia's is nice. The waiters are usually very nice and the food is good for the price. The children love it, and we find it quick, convenient and pleasant.
