A good restaurant with plenty of menu choices for the whole family. It is large and is capable of large functions. I had my birthday party there once and it was great with plenty of space. The food is very nice and fresh.

I have been here many times and have always had a great experience. They are very child friendly here. It is best to book on the weekends as it gets very busy - and noisy too. Doggie bags are provided which makes it great value as the servings are enormous.

The problem with Sofia's was the horrible service. I went in with a group of friends for lunch only to be served by the rudest waiter, when serving us our drinks, he spilt it on the table, no apologies or anything, and left a napkin for us to clean it up ourselves. The food, however, made up for his rudeness - generous serving sizes and good quality.

Good lighting. It's a perfect place to take the whole family without feeling embarrised if the kids spill their drink. Food was lovely, great range of italian food.

Great restuarant atmosphere, service was a little dodgy but food value and quality made up for this. The meals were just massive and everyone in our group got a doggy bag to take home! Meals are also very cheap for the size and quality.

Approximate cost: $10-15

Not that impressed with Sofia's at Wheelers Hill. Went on a Sunday night, and it was absolutely packed, so if you are after some conversation...skip this restaurant. After all, it is a family restaurant, so a great place to take the kids, especially with the huge array of gelati ice cream and the servings are massive. Our order took a long time to come through, probably due to the excessive patrons on the night. The actual meal, I had risotto was tasty and good value. Also ordered a chocolate mousse, however, this was not up to standard, it had not yet set, and was still runny, a bit disapointing.

Approximate cost: $15
