Sofia's is great if you are going with kids. Otherwise, I find it to be really noisy. The food is tasty and generous sized serves. It reminds me a little of La Porchetta.

Beautiful food !!! mind you I did have to wait a bit for the waiter but the food was well worth it. Beautiful spicy prawns will definately go again highly recommend

A fantastic place to eat and great value, meals are huge and were delicious. There was more than enough in one meal to have for two people and still some left to take home. Only downfall is it is noisy and there is nothing for the kids to do. If they added a playground for the kids we would go there more often. A very cheap night out

A real family restaurant. Large services and reasonable prices. The food is quite good as well.
The service leaves a little to be desired, but that is to be expected for such a large and busy restaurant.

The food servings are very, very large so unless you are starving, order the entree size! Other than that the dishes are delicious. The downside is that the waiters can sometimes be very in your face and not very professional.

This is a great place to go if your on a budget. Order any pasta, get a large and you've got lunch for the next day! The gelati was piled about 20cms up in a bowl. It's huge. Not the classiest place and it's hard to hear yourself talk when it's busy, but it's exceptional value

A family favorite for fantastic pastas. They also have great seafood and steak dishes but their pastas are huge and they offer containers to take the leftovers home - fantastic for lunch or dinner the next day.

Sofia's is such a great restaurant. IT's affordable, and my friends and I love going here cos the bill often comes to just $10 each! It might not be a 'classy' place, but its definately family friendly and a good place to go out with a friend. The food and pasta is really nice and the servings are so generous that I always split a main with someone else.

Went to Sofia's for the first time as part of a group of 20+ on a Saturday night. I was worried about how long it would take for orders to be taken and our food to arrive considering how big this restaurant is and how full it was. I needn't have worried. Our food came much quicker than I expected. The cappucino I ordered (and asked for it to be hot & half strength) was the best I've had almost anywhere and only cost $2.90! The portions as everyone else says here are BIG. Some of us ordered entree size pasta's and when the waiter handed out doggy bag SIZEY plastic containers to our large group.. we had plenty to fill it with. So much food.. which I appreciate because you really get the feeling that you're getting your money's worth. Our waiter was fantastic.. very friendly and accommodating. When I asked for my pasta sauce to have white wine in it.. he said it wouldn't be a problem. It was obvious, by looking around..that there were repeat customers here.. digging into their enormous portions of food. I saw huge servings of gelato too.

Talk about never leaving hungry...... just you try and do an entre, main and desert all in the 1 sitting in this establishment. We (4 of us) usually share a small garlic pizza to start off. trust me its enough. for main i sugest nothing bigger than an entre size pasta or risotto. if after all that you still desire desert then go for the gelato flavours. its massive and can be shared amongst 4. easy, nice, very reasonably priced especially for the serve size.
