The time at Soggy Dog will remain a highlight in my life, Soggy Dog should be a model for every studio in terms of customer service, professionalism and experience. Steve Vertigan, the owner/producer and recording engineer has been extremely helpful and truly a professional in the field. One of the major assets Steve has is his behavior with the clients, particularly with singers who come with a degree of nervousness and lack of experience that can lead to unsuccessful vocal recordings, Steve's unique and professional skills helped me get confidence and sing my track without repeating takes. I encourage every artist who is looking after quality recordings and professionalism in the studio technology should not choose a second option.

Steve's "tips for singers" worked for me, I strongly recommend every singer to read and practice it before going to Soggy Dog.

Steve is not only a recording engineer but a musician too which is a great advantage over a typical engineer. The equipments were as indicated on Soggy Dog's website, the venue was perfectly acoustic treated, overall everything you see on the website truly exist in the studio.

I will be recording all my future songs at Soggy dog as it satisfied my recording needs.

Steve from Soggy Dog Studio helped us record two songs which we are going to use at our wedding. He was both amazingly helpful and extremely talented. Even though I have not had very much practice singing, he was able to help me through the whole process and make sure that everything was just right. He provided an excellent service and is a phenomenal artist, having recorded our music for us and then recorded us singing on top of it. We would recommend it to anyone.

As a complete amateur without any recording experience hoping to record some songs as a gift, I was pretty nervous about the whole process until I met Steve in Soggy Dog Recording. The studio is very professional yet relaxing and comfortable. Steve is very patient and encouraging. He explained everything that I need to know and to pay attention to, and didn't treat me any less serious because I'm an amateur. He has a great ear to pick up any little thing that needs to be worked on. He gave me lots of valuable advices which not only helped me in the recording session but are also helpful in the future. Steve pays much attention on details and makes every effort to achieve the best. He even listened to my recording after the session and made adjustments to make them the best they could get. Although I'm not a musical professional myself, I had the first class professional service in Soggy Dog. Such an enjoyable experience! More than happy to go there again. Definitely will recommend to anyone!

Last week I took my two woodwind ensembles to Soggy Dog studios to be recorded. This was their first experience in recording I was very impressed with the proficient yet relaxed atmosphere for the players.
The recording studio's set up was top class with the best equipment to help produce a fine CD.
Nothing was too much trouble to explain, go over, or re-record when necessary. The students were able to play their music with confidence knowing that in such a comfortable setting there was no need to feel insecure. This enabled them to really enjoy the experience and gain valuable insight to preparing for future recording sessions.
The efficiency by Steve and the first class recording equipment and environment meant that every minute was productive resulting in great value both financially and finished product.
As an experienced musician and teacher I would highly recommend Soggy Dog Recording Studio to any musician or group wanting a professional recording.

Steve has a fantastic set-up in his studio with a great recording space, tons of audio gear and lots of nice software processors and samples to choose from. Steve's a seriously clever audio guy with lots of musical and music industry knowledge. My sessions with him not only enabled me to create a great music product to sell on iTunes, but I learned so much from him in the process. I've been recommending him to all my musical friends.

I've worked on many projects with Steve over the past 15 years - and there is not one recording engineer that I've worked with that does it better! Steve is a quiet genius - from mixing to mastering. His detail and experience in recording several different styles of music and his ability to produce world class products every time. It's only a matter of time before he's booked up years in advance... perhaps I better suss out my album recording for 2013? Soggy Dog ticks all my boxes from comfortable to creative. State of the art equipment - and a world class engineer - Thanks Steve...

Needing a recording studio for a wedding song I wrote, I stumbled across Soggy Dog via a Google search. Steve provided state-of-the-art equipment and top-notch engineering. I was blown away by his personal attention and professional detail. I quickly realized this wasn't my project – but our project. My guitar-playing brother – over from the states – knows sound engineering, knows audio, knows the nitty gritty technical aspects and really respects others who do. His respect for Steve was limitless. We walked away so thankful we had the opportunity to record at Soggy Dog – and simply cannot thank Steve enough.
Ps. The song was a huge hit at the wedding…!

Session to record tracks and produce original song for brother's wedding ceremony. I traveled from USA to record this with my brother. Steve was very hospitable to us and provided a comfortable and relaxing environment for us to share our music. He was able to provide me with a choice of several acoustic guitars, I chose one with a beautiful sound that happened to be built by a friend. Microphone selection, equipment, and technique was masterful, as the audio quality experienced during recording, playback, and the finished product was outstanding. Definitely a highlight of my visit to Australia!
