Very irresponsible in looking after my timid little puppy. She ended up in hospital due to broken bones in one of her front legs. it's impossible if she hurt herself because she is scared of climbing.
The staff at Solar Lodge were very understanding of my needs for an urgent place for my dog to stay and fit her in straight away. I was shown through the kennels to see where she would stay, exercise etc. The staff were happy to work around my needs and work hours. Highly recommended for anyone needing a home away from home for their pets

Anonymous I do know who you are and yes your beautiful little puppy did break her leg while in our care. We also were very sad that this happened. We notified the emergency contact and took your dog to the vet as soon as we noticed this. The vet xrayed and found her leg was broken we were in contact with your emergency contact throughout the ordeal. The dog was a chihuahua who has tiny bones and this sort of accident can happen to these little dogs just from jumping. We looked after your dog as well as anyone could. We paid for the vet care while she was in our care and transport to your approved vet , we didn't charge you for boarding altogether we are out of pocket for $800.
You also called the RSPCA about us who inspected the kennel and checked out the care of your dog and they gave us a clean bill of health and told us we had done everything we could and that it was just an accident.
Your dog was not timid with us she liked us very much because we made a fuss of her and cuddled her, you have never contacted us about this .
We are still very sorry that she had an accident leaving her with a broken leg but are unable to say how she did this happened.
