6 reviews about Soleil Health Spa

Reading the reviews I am rather surprised as I have found the services and staff most efficient and professional.
The IPL treatments are quick and pain free and I have had great results.
I will definitely continue to use this clinic.
I was referred by other friends who also had great results.

DON'T WASTE EITHER YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. This is not a professional medical grade IPL salon no matter how much they state it is. I bought a groupon with a value of $550 for a medical grade IPL session which was over before it began (I think it was 6 and 1/2 minutes from the time I entered the room for my consult to the time I was sitting back in my car), this salon ought to be ashamed of themselves. I have had Medical grade IPL before and there is generally an extensive consult session before the IPL even begins. In this instance I was called into the room and the therapist (WHO COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE THAN 18!!) told me I would have great results in reducing my facial hair. I then pointed out to her that I had stated on my form that I was here for Photo rejuvenation to which she quickly sputtered and then said I would have wonderful results with this also. My face was not cleansed and the IPL treatment was over in the sum total of 3 minutes, following which the therapist applied ":MIRACLE GEL", over my 10 hour old makeup as my face had not been cleansed in the first place. As I have had Medical grade IPL previously I was aware that it was uncomfortable and leaves your face warm and red almost as if you had a mild touch of sunburn. No such luck with this session and on mentioning this to the therapist she confirmed that my face would get redder over the next hour or so. Of course it didn't. I decided to wait at least two weeks to see if anything happened and of course there was no noticeable change - basically nothing happened. Now I know they will say you have to have 6-8 session, however I have always seen at least some difference after one session. I rang the salon and complained but to no avail and then asked to speak to the salon owner, who wasn't available at that time (how convenient). I left my details and asked for the salon owner (Whose name wouldn't or couldn't be supplied) to contact me and left my name and mobile number. I offered to contact her, but they were not prepared to give me her contact details. Over the following 3 weeks I made numerous phone calls to the salon asking to speak with the owner and asking when she would return my call. All to no avail, it is now 5 weeks since my treatment and I have yet to have the courtesy of either a phone call from the owner or an explanation with regard to their appalling standard of service which they have the audacity to charge you for.!! My suggestion is avoid this cowboy salon as they have no interest in providing good quality and or safe procedures but are only interested in getting money through the door. Just a small point to mention, it has been statistically proven that for every 1 customer who complains, there are 26 who don't - now there are some numbers worth thinking about.

Had a voucher for IPL hair removal for my daughter who is 15, it was supposed to be for $500 worth of treatment, what a joke. They took my daughter into the treatment room and did 3/4 of her arms and then tried to tell me that would be $750 worth of treatment, I couldnt believe it, absolute thieves and scammers as far as i am concerned. Would never go back and of course the treatment did nothing.

Sounds like they should have communicated better about what you were getting. IPL or VPL is really effective, though, done by a qualified therapist using a high quality machine (there's a BIG difference). Can't work with one treatment as hair has three growth stages and you have to hit it at each stage. Try somewhere else til you find someone you trust. It's worth the investment. Better luck next time x

So far I have had 4 of 6 lipo treatments at Soleil. Conclusion: very unprofessional operated, the staff has clearly no idea how deal with clients. Very unwelcoming, health and safety standards are not up to scratch. After treatments laser pads are being put back to the machine without being cleaned. Pretty disgusting. They suck people in with voucher deals, however treatments turn out to go only 10 min per session which is less than advertised. In short this place will struggle to get loyal customers.

Cheap IPL but I am not sure how safe it is. I blistered and marked very badly. I wasn't asked about my health, tablets taken, any problems. Nice reception room but treatment rooms very basic, not clean looking. Very unfriendly staff at reception. Difficult to book over phone. You have to email

I had a voucher for IPL hair removal. The 1st time I went, I received great service and the IPL was fine. On my 2nd visit, the woman was rude and abrupt and rushed the procedure causing her to burn my lip which blistered then peeled. I doubt I will return to use the remaining credit.
