I visited Solver Paints 12-18 months ago to get paint to do some touchups at my office and found the staff very helpful. I have been back a couple times in recent weeks to buy paint for my daughter's new room and to re-paint the nursery for baby no.2. The staff were extremely helpful in providing us with advice on colours and how much paint we would need, whether it should be maxi wash and low sheen etc. The paint quality is great (I prefer it to Dulux personally) and the 'fumes' aren't too bad either, especially compared to other paints I've used in the past.

Great service, friendly staff and excellent advice. Would recommend them to anyone starting a project around the house. This was my first time using Solver Paints and would definitely use them again. I found out they also have wallpaper services available which is handy.

The guys at Maylands are always friendly and really helpful when choosing paints and equipment. The quality of Solver paints is better than anything else I've used. In some cases when repainting walls I've only had to use one coat as it covers so well. They're great with decorating advice as well.
