For such a small pizza bar to still be open and able to compete with the big guys, Sonny's must be doing something right. It looks a bit old-fashioned from the outside but the pizza (and pasta) are very modern and contemporary. They have great toppings eg prosciutto (none of that cotto stuff), and other gourmet ingredients. They are often packed out; I think from memory there are one or two tables to eat at but it's mostly take-away. A bit pricier than some of your other independent pizza shops but well worth the effort.

I first tried there pizza's at a mates place and I was hooked. The pizzas are simply outstanding, there really tasty the base is perfect and there are always plenty of toppings. The only problem is now I have to travel 20 klms from my house to get there pizza lol.

the customer service was great. really friendly workers, who seem happy working together. appears to be a family business. although the pizza was expensive (16.50) 12" the ingredients were fresh and i was stuffed. but for the price i was a tad dissapointed. i would love to go back, just because they were friendly and brang the pizza outside to me and a few friends, which was just friendly =)
