I agree with everyone else best fish and chips in Adelaide. I used to live within walking distance and would go there regularly. Now that i have moved away i still make a trip down there every now and then. The only downside is that it is always busy. But trust me it is worth the wait.
Best fish & chips in Adelaide without a doubt. Often a huge line up but they are more than worth the wait. The staff are really friendly even when it is ridiculously busy.
one of the only places who still does fresh potatoes, theres alot of people out there saying certain people use fresh potatoes when I know for a fact they don't.. but these guys use fresh potatoes not frozen, the owner really cares about top quality fruit and veg, hes willing to pay good money for the best produce available instead of looking for the cheapest available, in my book that makes him the best fish shop in adelaide, there are other shops who do fresh potatoes but they do go for the cheaper fruit and veg. nice people who make great quality food. believe me
Best fish and chips in SA, they are so good I don't mind waiting for 20 minutes or more just so i can sink my teeth into whatever I order - but the fish and chips are to die for
Approximate cost: $9
best chips on the planet they are handmade service is pretty good too they must be doing something right in summer u stuggle to get inside the shop its that jam packed, with people lining up outside of the doors
Soto's is the best. It's hard to understand until you become a semi-regular visitor. They give generous portions and cater for large groups of people, very well!
The best fish and chip shop in Adelaide. The food & chips made using real potatoes. No frozen chips here. Fish also delicious and not coated in too much greasy batter, first fish I have had for years where I didn't peel of half the batter and throw it away!! They are generally busy, I guess relevant to the quality of the food, but you can phone an order through ahead if you are in a hurry.
What is better than great old fashioned quality fish & chips eaten straight from the paper whilst you are down near the beach, no matter summer or winter it is brilliant.
Hands down, the best fish and chip shop in Adelaide. They make their chips fresh using real potatoes. No frozen chips here. Expect to wait a while, they are always busy so ring ahead if you can. Also note that they close early regardless of how many customers are hanging around.

Yes the Fish and Chips here really blend with the Semaphore sea breeze and they are always fresh as they are always turning over lots of product.
