Called Sam today in regards to leaking taps in hand basin, answered phone promptly, very well mannered and polite, sent him photo of issue returned with estimate quote booked my job in, arrived on time very professional, repaired the leak and left the bathroom presentable. Very honest not by any means greedy at all and 100 % reliable. I would recommend Soul Plumbing 100 times over to anyone who requires a plumber. May you prosper brother

Our hot water system was not working. Soul called me asked some questions and said he would come and have a look, informed me of his charges. Recommended options. I agreed on the charges. He came and fixed the system literally in 10 minutes. Explained the issue to me and showed me how to fix it if the same problem occurs again. I will be using him again for any plumbing and gas related issues.

Sam the man and his wonderful trainee were fantastic! I had an emergency - NO HOT WATER!!!!!! OMG the end of the world for girls! In any case, Soul Plumbing did a brilliant job. Responded so quickly, job done in less than 24 hours since they were contacted. So polite and informative. Showed everything I needed to know to look after my new system. Highly recommend them.

A very disappointing service. I chose Soul plumbing as true local said they were “blocked drain specialists”. [name redacted] attended with his apprentice and used his “very powerful machine” to cut through big woody tree roots in my drain and unblock it. After it was cleared he showed me on the camera and the drain was full of big wood chips. He gave me a verbal quote to dig them up and fix it as he said the roots would grow back. He asked me to txt him my email address so he could send through the receipt and quote, which I did before he left the property but I had to chase him for a week to get this sent through. I was charged $395 but 10 days later the drain was blocked again. When I contacted [name redacted] about fixing it he did not reply to the email, when I called he said that the roots had grown back. Personally I think that the large amount of wood chips that was not removed is the issue. [name redacted] explained that when you cut your lawn it grows back and that the roots are the same. But if I cut down a tree I don’t see the stump sprouting a new tree in 10 days. I have seen on the internet that after the auger has cut through a blocked drain that it will need unblocked again when they grow back about a year later. I doubt that any roots will completely grow back and block a drain again in a matter of days. I now have another plumber coming to dig and fix but have had several weeks with blocked drains unable to use the bathroom, laundry or kitchen sinks. The new plumber’s quote is more than $1000 less. I do not think true local should refer to him as “blocked drain specialist”- what a joke! He also was complaining openly about his apprentice in front of me, which I thought was unprofessional and mean-spirited. If he does not have the patience and personality to teach him then he should work alone or pay someone more who is properly trained to work with him.

Sam is the man. Helped me identify the cause of the leak without tearing the place apart. He's also courteous with the flooring and carpets and cleans up after himself. Was refreshing since I usually have to mop up after plumbers. he's my go-to guy now. Highly recommend.
