I took in my high end turntable, custom pre-amp and power amps. Another specialist hi fi business had given up on sorting out some problems. Luke got them all working perfectly, generous with his time and commitment. I did not know they could sound so good. Stunning. I would trust them.

I would stay clear of this business if you want B&W repairs. I tried to get a replacement tweeter for my B&W 601 S3 speakers and placed the order on the 20th July 2017. Today is the 11th Oct 2017 and I'm still waiting.

I had to keep chasing them for a delivery date and I kept getting an answer of another week another week. Happy yo share e-mails if you need the proof.

Worst service I have ever had buying stuff online and I've been doing it for many years now.

Have asked for a refund - lets see how that goes.

I would not recommend you buy online from these people. Try loudspeakerfreaks.com instead. Placed an order on 09Sep for 2 tweeters, sent 4 emails asking where my order was and finally gave up and contacted paypal for a refund. I never once received a reply from them. Terrible service.

Update. They cancelled my order after I raised a dispute with Paypal, I ordered the tweeters from WES components and they arrived the next day. In the meantime, Speakerbits decided to send the tweeters after they said that the drivers had arrived in the country, never once did they answer any emails from me and inform me that the they didn't even have the parts. This is a very dodgy company and I wouldn't use them. They still to this day have not answered any of my emails. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

Sad to say my experience was, if anything, even more frustrating and infuriating than ChristineC4’s. I took my vintage Wharfdale Dovedales in for refurbishment. The job was restoration of the cabinets and a checkout of the electronics. [Retracted name] quoted $1,000 to repair and refinish the cabinets, replace the grill cloths and probably the damping foam inside the cabinets, and replace the crossovers. He agreed that the drivers were fine. That was on September 26th. I heard nothing for a month and began trying to contact the shop to find out how things were going. Over the next several weeks I made many telephone calls and left many messages, none of which was responded to. On 4 occasions I did manage to talk to someone. Each of these conversations was reassuring although often self-contradictory. Conversation #1 – the speakers were back from the cabinet maker and [Retracted name] was working on the electronics; Conversation #2 – the speakers would be back from the cabinet makers on Wednesday and would be ready for pick up on Saturday, he would call me to confirm pick-up; Conversation #3 – the speakers were delayed at the cabinet makers but they would be back this Wednesday and ready for pick up on Saturday, he would call me to confirm pick-up; Conversation #4 – the speakers had been returned from the cabinet makers but [Retracted name] had been “unhappy with the colour matching” and sent them back. However, they would be back this Wednesday and ready for pick up on Saturday, he would call me to confirm pick-up. Following this I heard nothing for two weeks and left a couple more phone messages neither of which was responded to. Finally this Monday December 19th, twelve weeks to the day since I had left the speakers, I went down to the shop where I found the speakers on the floor completely untouched since I left them. Despite being assured by the woman in charge of the shop (neither [Retracted name] or [Retracted name] was available) that Speakerbits was the no. 1 company in the business I asked for my $200 deposit to be refunded and took my speakers home with me.

That's teerible service which you received. I was considering to take my speaker for repair at speakerbits but after reading your recent review I will not do so. Have you taken your speakers else where for repair or restoration ? If you could provide some photos of the current condtion of the fabric and the casing or housing of the speakers. I may be able to help you with the polishing and new lacquer :-)

Took my vintage Tannoy speakers and Thorens turntable in to be fixed up. I inherited them from my late uncle. The price was pretty expensive but I have never heard music like this ever! They did take quite a while to repair but they told me it would take a week or two (it took two and a half weeks..) No issue. Michael and Tom (I think he's the owner) were very courteous and explained the job they did well. I would recommend them easily plus they've got this rather cool radio collection in the front which is quite speccy.

I sent my Energy speaker for repair over a month ago. I still don't have my speaker back! Apparently, their supplier's website was down, so the parts were delayed. Well, I can understand that, but they could have informed me of that fact. I have sent so many emails to these people and they rarely get back to me. Despite one email, profusely apologizing, they STILL haven't repaired my speaker. The manager went on leave and gave no instructions as to what was going on. These guys are a total waste of time. Their customer "service" is a joke! At least, their price was a lot less than I expected. That is their only recommendation
