Great food and great service. A bit cramped location due to cafe's either side but situated in beautiful sawtell. Prices are a bit high but great quality food so worth every penny

Always had an amazing experience at split they have fantastic food great coffee and the staff are always really lovely always go there for the experience

Great position, looks lively and popular so i'm thinking it must be ok. Wrong huh...yep I was! It all started with the Mezza plate...the proscuitto was indeed not proscuitto - it was BACON!!!! I do know the difference - people are a lot more educated these days..c'mon! Then it went to the not being approched for 30 minutes after our entree and with empty cups taken away - no one asked if we wanted more drinks (we did) so we unhappily had our main (slammed down quickly on the table in fornt of us with no eye contact by the waitress) which btw was a BLT for me - with the same bacon/proscuitto on the roll as was on the mezza plate. then it all ended up with me paying the bill to a waitress who never asked me how my experience was, or thanked me for my custom or even ackowledged me but to take my money and then quickly go back to sucking her milkshake behind the counter, quite openly in front of me. It astounds me that people like this can still be in buisiness. I know our family definately wont be handing over our hard earned cash to these people again!!
