Box Hill. Bought 2 latex pillows on Saturday and tried to return them today. I have used latex pillows before so expected these to be good. They weren't cheap either. Of course they wouldn't exchange them, how convenient for Spotlight! I wouldn't even use these pillows for my dogs now. The advertising states "construction promotes healthful head and neck alignment utilizing the support of latex whole remaining soft and comfortable". My neck disagrees. Even the staff member said "yes these are hard" and yet I still couldn't exchange them. I could have lied and said I had not opened the packaging but I was honest. How else would I know they were too hard to sleep on! Interestingly I then had a Messenger exchange with Spotlight who apologized for the disappointment and said since the Box Hill store denied my exchange request, they were unable to override their decision. This implies that Spotlight stores have inconsistent exchange policies across their stores. I asked for an exchange, not a refund. You would expect such a large store would back its products. I am disappointed with the product and the staff "couldn't care less about the customer" attitude.

This place is HUGEE. I love going here and the staff are quite friendly. There is so much here and its hard to leave without buying anything. Its a great place to buy anything and everything you need thats craft related.

The sales are great (and frequent), especially if you are a VIP club member. There is a huge range of products that will suit every price budget and I can always find what I'm looking for.

Have been here many times and always find it to be the same. Lots of items in a large store and not very organized. Things are spread out everywhere and are often a bit of a mess to sort through to find what you are after. Have found the staff courteous and friendly but there is usually not enough staff on duty. Lots of material, knitting and craft items available for sale.

I have always found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I have only started sewing in the past few years, and they have been very supportive and have given me great advice.

It was fun going there, Been there only once to buy some hooks, The staff is friendly and not like most Supermarkets where you cannot find anything. Also very close to public transport and wide variety available

You can't just race into this store as you need to plan to find what you are looking for - quite disappointing especially for the size of the store. 2 registers to cut fabrics, lines miles long, rubbish on the other cutting tables. No real place to ask for help unless you join a que, if you do ask, your only pointed in the direction. Room for improvmenet. Good though for those smaller things like needles, etc

I have been many times but am always a little disappointed in the disorganized chaos that surrounds the store. It is hard to find someone to help you with questions unless you go up to the counter and wait in line and they don't have enough 12x12 cardstock options.

its really big, and the layout of the stock changes so you can never find anything quickly. however a good range of things and easy parking, they generally seem to be understaffed as there is never anyone one walking around to help you

Despite a renovation which has improved appearance and range of stock I still find that I can never find the items advertised as specials easily. Its also hard to get help to find these items as the staff are wither uninterested or too young to care
