Food is super flavoursome, easy on the hip pocket and served whilst it's still hot! I recommend the curries =]
Food: the penne pasta i ordered was a bit dry and hard, but the meatballs were delicious. Atmosphere: trendy-meets-old-style. Pricing: Reasonable. Serving size: A bit more generous than a "small" bowl of pasta from the food course. Service: fast, but a little bit pushy
This little store sells made-to-order French-inspired, Japanese-style crepes. I haven't tried any savoury crepes but some of the sweet ones are a little too sugary and overpowering for my liking. The shop can become a bit crowded at times so be prepared to wait up to 10-15 minutes for your crepe to be ready.
There are some asian-inspired flavours on offer and my favourite would have to be the yam icecream or warm soy milk! Staff are friendly and prices are around the $3.50-$4 mark for one scoop.
Everyone here is so friendly and genuinely interested in their customers. The optometrist had a professional yet down-to-earth air about him. The range of frames is quite extensive and the staff are very helpful when it comes to what frames look good and suit your face shape.
The dentists and receptionists at this dental clinic are always so polite and kind. I am very happy with how they clean my teeth. However they often run late and keep you waiting for up to half an hour after your appointed booking time.
This is a small pharmacy so it doesn't offer such a wide choice of products, however the service is excellent. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and enjoy giving advice and recommendations.
The menu offers a range of dishes, not just dumplings, as well as vegetarian options. Serving sizes are reasonable and the food is never too oily. I would recommend the prawn wontons!
Approximate cost: $8
A good place to eat if you're after cheap, tasty food. Just be wary that sometimes the cutlery is unclean. Also, some of the waiters seem detached and bored, but are nonetheless always happy to help out.
Staff do not speak english well, so their explanations about my vision problems were a bit briefer than I would have liked. Their range of frames was not extensive and I struggled to find a pair to buy.
