Visited with work colleagues and everyone was pleased with the venue and quality of food. Staff were accomodating and polite, even though once or twice we needed to ask twice for little things like dessert menus. All in all a decent experience.

Best steak in Melbourne!! This place has a lot of character and does not disappoint! I had the 200g eye fillet done Medium - so tender and juicy! My boyfriend had the T-bone and also admitted he hadn't tasted any better! The black pepper sauce is my fav and the blue cheese sause a close second. The chocolate pudding was a good size and covered in hot fudge sauce! yum! Would highly recommend! Also would advise to book early and depending if you are a large party or a couple, ask for a good table upstairs... table 37 is a 6 seater in the corner and table 21 is great for a couple (next to the balcony). There are a couple tables that you may not be too happy to sit at! (one just at the bottom of the stairs and one right in the walkway next to the kitchen. Staff are usually very happy to assist if you want a particular table and it isn't too short notice!

I had never been nor heard of this place but my brother had heard about their steak and they had no problems accommodating us for a group of 5 at late notice which was a nice change.

The decor was a little dark and dated but the service staff were friendly with greetings and smiles which brightened it up. The service started out a little shaky and they didn't really take control of the table but everyone got what they wanted and relatively quickly.

The steak was perfect! having eaten steak at many steakhouses across QLD and parts of WA at a cheaper price I was pleasantly surprised. Finally I know where to go to get my choice of cut and cook. When you need a good steak I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. I will be back when I finally digest the monster you cooked me last night.

Amazing steak and when compared to other steak houses in melbourne good value. We don't like the city one as much. Can be very busy and if you want a potato instead of chips and have a late booking you need to tell them. A good wine list also - a must to make e most of the night!

My wife and I love a good eye fillet steak. Squires Loft is now our favourite restaurant as they do amazing steaks, and their fries are equally as good. The pricing is quite reasonable although from memory the sauces are bit of a rip-off (pretty standard at steak houses they days). The atmosphere is good and but it's not a place you would take kids.

If you are a steak lover than this is the place to go. Best steaks in Melbourne, there creamy garlic sauce is the best as well. my wife and i go there at least once a month and allways walk out wanting to go back for more.

The greatest steak house I have ever been to. The ribs are a must have!!! We usually get a kilo of ribs to share as entree and then a steak each for mains.... it sounds like a lot, and it is, but they are SO tasty we always manage to finish it all!

Sister shop of Parkers Steakhouse in Geelong. The steak, ribs and grilled vegetables are all great. We still can't find any steak better in taste and price than Parkers and Squires Loft!
