I could never reccommend the Thomastown store.
The owner is aggogent, rude and insulting.He told me to "F off" out of his store , simply for looking dissapointed after being told it would take 48 hrs to get in the product I was wanting to purchase advertised as in stock on his website.

Repeatedly tried to upsale, then charges extra after payments in full have already been made.

Lady behind counter is clueless. Does not know a thing regarding make & model of cars.
Tries to be helpful, but only keeps repeating the same question over & over, after it’s already been answered & explained.

Install work is shonky & B-grade, at best. No care for customers needs or wants. Butcher interior is what they do best!

Guy with Beard behind counter is only decent worker. Helpful, polite, understanding & communication is on point.

Fingers crossed he takes over & sacks the rest!

After researching how to improve the comfort and sound in my Landcruiser I came across this great kit at SSV (Front Door Pods suitable for Toyota Landcruiser 70 Series- with RS65.2 Type R Alpine Speakers). I was impressed with the way they conducted business, fitted door pods and speakers quickly and I happily drove away with a new sound. Thanks SSV

When enquiring about a dash cam for my commodore, I was impressed with what the gentlemen knew and could explain to me in detail what each camera had to offer and which was best recommended based on their knowledge and experience with each product.
I am very satisified with their service and assistance with this and will be recommending the team at SSV to all friends and family looking for audio systems, dash cams, etc, for their vehicles.

Tried to get an unusual car audio installation done with SSV and I came away disappointed. The wiring was done badly, the lighting was done badly, the alignment of materials was off, and my instructions weren't followed which resulted in a further day's delay.

In hindsight, I should've guessed from their uncertainty and vagueness that they weren't up to the job. The only thing I was happy about was that they didn't scratch my car.

These guys managed to install a stereo system in my poor old car when I didn't think it would be possible.
Excellant system and service, good price.
The guy who runs the place was a bit of a grump, but it didn't influence his work, so maybe I just caught him on a bad day. Overall really good
