I had one third of my car re-painted at a good price. I informed the owner that I can do the final polishing stages myself, so I received a discount. I also mentioned that I wanted a good job done.

Much to my surprise, the job was done rather badly.
- Dust and debri was visible under the paint
- Overspray on a few parts of the car that I had to remove via clay bar and polish
- The rubber on my wheels had a sticky residue that was difficult to remove
- Polish residue was left in panel cracks/gaps
- The bonnet had more swirl marks than I expected
- Foot mats inside the car were not covered and were left dirty with white boot marks that wouldn't come out completely with just vacuuming
- The colour that was resprayed did not quite match the rest of my car. I expected a much closer match.
- A high level of orange peel was visible in the paint. My efforts to smooth it out were unsuccessful, but perhaps a watersanding stage would have helped. It left me wondering how they managed to get so many swirl marks (presumably from bad polishing and buffing) and yet not remove any orange peel.

While I was disappointed with my own experience, I have seen similar poor work carried out by this company on other cars so mine wasn't an isolated example.

I would advise anyone who cares about their car's paint to look elsewhere. If you're just after a bargain, then go ahead. They're also located on a narrow street, so be careful.

I had my car serviced by Linea Rossa and I was pretty impressed. They fixed a recurring problem I've had with my car for a long time that two or three other mechanics couldn't fix. They replaced a broken rear brake light which I forgot to tell them about. Prices seem good and they seemed interested in helping me out.

The only two negatives:
1. Some finger prints over parts of my car's paint, but most mechanics would be guilty of that. No scratches though!
2. I didn't receive a phone call at the time when they finished inspecting my car and were about to commence repairs. A phone call is expected so the customer can agree to commence work that wasn't discussed earlier. In my case, however, there were no major surprises so maybe that's why I didn't get a pre-work call.

I plan on using them as my new regular mechanics and I recommend them to others.

I've had John upgrade a switchboard, install a ceiling fan, repair a couple of light switches, and replace an exhaust fan. John is honest with customers and does quality work. He also seems to possess good problem-solving abilities. I would recommend him to others and I'd be happy to call him for future jobs.

Tried to get an unusual car audio installation done with SSV and I came away disappointed. The wiring was done badly, the lighting was done badly, the alignment of materials was off, and my instructions weren't followed which resulted in a further day's delay.

In hindsight, I should've guessed from their uncertainty and vagueness that they weren't up to the job. The only thing I was happy about was that they didn't scratch my car.

I used No Limit to tune an Audison BitOne digital sound processor in my unusual system. The previous company I tried wasn't up to standard and failed on some basics. Thankfully, No Limit were much better and found a couple of mistakes SSV made.

While they are unlikely to be the cheapest option, I am certainly using No Limit for my future car audio/video needs. Their knowledge and patience is worth the money. I'd recommend them to anyone who values expertise and customer service.
