Definitely a good place to visit for a drink, snack or ice cream whilst having a walk along the pier on a nice summer's day.
I agree with other WOMO members, do not go on a cold day as it gets windy, unless you are dressed warmly.
We have taken interstate and overseas guests and they enjoyed the walk along the pier to admire our great city of Melbourne and our beaches. It was handy location of this shop to take a quick break and enjoy a cold drink.
i have been there several times and found service to be good and found a good range of snacks
The St. Kilda Pier Kiosk is located at the end of the pier. I had a milk shake there, which was OK, although it had a bit too much sugar for my taste. The serving staff was vigilant and friendly. You can also purchase some snacks like baguettes and chips.
There are toilet facilities at the rear of the building as far as I remember. I would recommend to go there in the summer month because it can quite stormy on the pier, but the view is well worth a visit.
when im walking in st kilda near the beach i occasionally stop here for a quick coffee and snack winter its too cold and strong winds prices a bit high
Not a recommendation for the winter months because it's so cold, but this is a great little place to soak up the sun and look out at the bay, while nursing a drink and a light snack.
When in St Kilda, we like to walk along the pier and usually end up here for a coffee. It's always busy and sometimes you don't get a seat, but it's always a nice destination to end up at.
Approximate cost: $5+
The kiosk is a great place to grab a coffee and cake on a nice day (even on stormy days if you can brave the weather). It has great views and is a good place to take visitors. The price is pretty steep though (considering it's in St Kilda where there's plenty of competition).
