Aviv makes delicious food! We bought a lot of food here for our engagement party and everyone raved about it. We got a really large cake (served 40+) for $80, definately well worth the money, very reasonably priced for an engagement cake.

A nice thai restaurant. Have been there once for dinner, very pleasant service, restaurant was nice enough. Food was good, very typical Thai food, would go there again.

I used to take my old car here - they do a good job, only what needs to be done and they don't try to rip you off. They'll source second hand parts so you don't need to pay for new (which is good for old cars). A woman works in the office and knows lots about cars - certainly not a business that will rip you off because you're female.

Very friendly dry cleaner. Takes a reasonable amount of time to dry clean an item and they do a good job of it. The price is also good for dry cleaning - they take care with the fabrics, no problems there at all.

This restaurant/vodka bar is great! The list of vodkas is extensive, the ones we tried were delish, but potent - be warned! The food was nice too although not too many veg options, but got to expect that in this style of restaurant. The service was really good, even though they were flat out the service could not be faltered, they do their best to get you in and out before your movie.

This review is for St Kilda Pier Kiosk, St Kilda VIC

The kiosk is a great place to grab a coffee and cake on a nice day (even on stormy days if you can brave the weather). It has great views and is a good place to take visitors. The price is pretty steep though (considering it's in St Kilda where there's plenty of competition).

Have been here for a function and the food was really good. Not sure about value for money for meals, but the restaurant itself is nice (it's quite small and intimate) with great views. It's named after the penguin colony right next door that you can look at after dinner.

This is a good place to hang out with friends, grab a beer and eat pizza. Lots of cool images of old cartoons/comic heros etc inside which make it fun. The service could be a bit better, but it's a bar so you don't expect too much.

Went here just after it opened and haven't been back. I was totally put off as the first bite I took into a spring roll revealed a hair in the middle of it! The staff quickly took it away and replaced it, but appetite was gone after that. They had signs for Singha beer all over the place, but when we asked for beer they said that they didn't have the liquor licence yet. Hmm, not a good first impression, hopefully they've improved but I think I'll go elsewhere from now on.

This review is for Tataki Japanese Restaurant, Elsternwick VIC

verified email - 21 Oct 2009

Went here for the first time last week and loved it. The service is very friendly and the food was great! Really good variety on the menu and tasty options. Traditional Japanese styling inside (except there are chairs to sit on rather than the floor, which is nice!). Try something with their 'special sauce', yum!

Approximate cost: $20
