I love this place. A nice place to go and just sit and read. Staff are very helpful and a beautiful, peaceful environment.

I spend most of my time in the lovely Mitchell reading room. It is a beautiful book lined room with plenty of seating and natural light. The staff are helpful and competent, always ready to lend a hand.

It's a good place to hang out and nice outlook after the face lift. Definitely worth spending time there. Would recommend to anyone. Also check out their online publication

The State Library has free (but unsecured) wifi, Internet stations and brand new books that you can check out. You can also access a lot of on-line publications and journals from a whole load of different organisations (health, medical, etc). Plus the libary is so beautifully designed, it's so nice to go there.
