A nice pub location in Williamstown, a little pricey but has good specials. The steak is very good quality and is really yummy. Only downside is we went there on a hot day and the pub was like a sauna, it definitely absorbed the heat and there was no air conditioning, so if you're planning a night out here on a warm day if perhaps consider going elsewhere to cool down!

Good fun, nice atmosphere and great service. This is a regular for me and a locals pub. The facilities are very comfortable. Service is pretty good too. Highly Recommended!!

I agree, the Steampacket is a great little pub in Williamstown. I havent been for a few years, but it was very homely, relaxed and a friendly atmosphere.

I confess I've never eaten here but I've enjoyed a drink or two at the Steampacket lately, and its been an overall positive experience. No complaints about the beer on tap. The staff were nice enough. Its got a pokey room or two at the front but it opens up a bit towards the back. It has on street seating as well, which is nice but its on Cole St so it doesn't have the best outlook unfortunately. Definitely good enough to return to for another drink while the weather is still nice!

Since this was my second ever pub meal, and i cant even remember the first its been so long, perhaps i was expecting a bit too much. It was a meal on half price Tuesday. It was bland, my vegetables were perhaps microwaved and the whole thing looked like it wasn't prepared on site and perhaps just delivered and heated. However, it was prepared on-site.. at least the fish was which arrived with a large chunk of charcoaled something from grill hiding under it. That wasn't a pleasant surprise when i ate it. But my partner said it was one of the best pub meals he has had and warned me that normally i should expect far worse..

So if that's the case, then i would rate the meal as edible with the help of lots of tomato sauce.. to cut on costs, they only had one waiter for the night, who lost our drink order, but oh well.. we got our drinks about 45 minutes later...

Another great pub in Williamstown where the drinks are cold and the meals are good. A great place to catch up with friends have a pub meal and a few beers. They have live music on a Saturday night which is always good as well. The facilities are very comfortable. Service is pretty good too.

Approximate cost: $10-20
