Steamtech did an excellent job. They arrived earlier than the appointed time, and worked hard on a very dirty old carpet. They used two methods, steam and dry, to bring up the carpet, which came up much better than I expected. Not perfect, but quite presentable.

Big Stains, No Problems

I was moving out of the house I had been renting for about 2 years and part of my lease agreement was the carpets must be professionally cleaned before I can get my bond money back.
I forgot I had put a rug over the top of a huge stain I had left in the carpet when I had spilled a 2 litre bottle of coke, and this was about the second week I had moved in there.

So I did a bit of searching on the internet for Carpet Cleaners in Bayswater, Victoria and came across Steamtech, their website look pretty good, I called and a man name Robin answered the phone he gave me a rough quote over the phone what it would cost to clean 3 rooms and to remove the stain from the carpet, but I loved his honesty as he explained to me it all came down to the size of of each room as no 2 houses are alike.

So he booked me in for the next day and Robin showed up to clean my carpets, he 1st looked at the big stain I had on the carpet in the living room he pre-soaked with some kind of fluid and massaged it into the stain and let it soak, he steam cleaned the other 2 bedrooms 1st then he came back to the living room and steam cleaned the whole room 1st but left the stain to last, he then got out some special shampoo and added that on top of the already soaked stain from the fluid he left on there when he first came in to start the job.
He also massaged that into the carpet as well and then very slowly used his carpet steam cleaning machine to clean up the last part of the carpet where the soft drink stain was and in about 2 minutes late "BOOM" the stain was gone and the carpet was like new, like even better than the day I moved in.

Now as I don't always use carpet cleaning services and I am unsure what the going rate is for carpet cleaning I thought $110 was a bargain to clean all those rooms and getting rid of the stain.

So if anyone is reading this review I would highly recommend Steamtech for your next carpet steam clean.
