Wonderful fabrics, many interesting and beautiful fabrics from Europe. Many of the customers are probably going to hire a dressmaker, however I make many of my own clothes, and look for beautiful natural fibres. I can always find something lovely in beautiful colours at Stitches. They are also very helpful with mail order.

I have used Stitches to Style for quite a few outfits for different occasions. From formal, wedding, race day wear or even every day wear. I cannot recommend this boutique highly enough. Their range of fabrics will blow your mind, especially the amazing designer fabrics.
The service from Dominique and Lucy is first class. They provide such a friendly and reassuring service. Dominique will draw up any design to suit your criteria. She has an incredible eye for detail and Lucy has a real creative flair, this is really helpful when it comes to choosing fabrics and having your fittings on site. Their dress makers and tailors are all excellent and each offers a different technique and approach so you can choose your dress maker to suit your needs.
Then there is their onsite milliner Bonnie. If you are looking for wedding or race day head pieces; hats, fascinators or even veils, this woman is an incredible talent.
Stitches to Style is my fashion go-to. I would never buy anything off the rack for a special occasion when prices are comparative, but quality and selection of fabrics, not to mention superior service and experience are first class.
Go to Stitches and you will be glad you did. I'm and independant customer, this review is not a promotional favour in any way. It all started for me when I purchased my wedding dress fabrics there and had my wedding dress made by Sophie, one of their most experienced dress makers.

I went to Stitches to see about getting some dresses tailored for my sister's wedding. In the end, I went with them as they offered the best combination of price and selection - the tailoring for a fairly simple cocktail dress was $450. I selected a gorgeous silk satin, which they special ordered for me with no complaints.

Dominique was the lady who assisted me, and was very helpful both in helping me work out the design, and selecting the fabric and colours. Sophie, the dressmaker, was very warm and friendly, and her work was excellent.

My one complaint about them would be their level of punctuality. While they were generally punctual and delivered the dress on time, I also spent quite a bit of time waiting around for them - Dominique was late to two appointments that I made with her, and I was also kept waiting for fitting appointments. I wasn't so fussed about the appointments as I was on a day off, but I had run out of work for the fittings, so to be told to come back in 15 minutes was disappointing. A quick phonecall or even text to let me know that they were running late would have been appreciated.

However, all in all, I would certainly use them again - all of the staff were friendly and they were all very helpful, with a high level of expertise in their field. Just be sure to call ahead to make sure that they're ready for you!
