Our old tiled roof had been leaking for 6 years and no one had been able to fix it. We contacted Strongguard and asked for an honest appraisal. Tim gave us some excellent advice and we decided to get a Colorbond roof after being given a competitive quote. This company is very professional and well organised. Warren ordered the materials and Jessie and Kelly completed the work. There was an issue with some previously damaged beams in the roof so Warren organised a carpenter to come immediately and there were no holdups. Not only do we have a fantastic new roof, we have Peace of Mind knowing that it won’t leak again. We highly recommend this company.

We needed a new roof on our investment property so price was a consideration and as there quote was very competitive they got the job and we could not be more impressed. David was very professional and his team did an excellent job and as a tradesman myself could not fault their workmanship.

What should have been a 4 day job took over 1 month. They damaged our property in multiple places and took weeks to remove the asbestos and rubbish. They came out twice to quote, and still got their measurements wrong, causing further delays. We found a large piece of asbestos (30cm x 10cm) in our yard, where our 8 year old son plays; they also scraped asbestos down the side of the house, leaving residue. The initial team did such a bad job, they had to get another team out to repair the mistakes and finish the remaining half of the job. This team made out they were doing us a big favour because they had to drive from Brisbane and one of them even told me he would rather be at home cuddling his wife? It has been a stressful, upsetting, expensive experience for a mediocre job. There are other roofing companies - I suggest you call them before contacting Strongguard.

Firstly the office staff were intelligent, efficient and pleasant. Then the job was finished on time, looks good and has withstood two very heavy downpours. A pleasant experience all round.

We recently had new gutters and down-pipes with Leaf Eaters installed. All aspects of this job were handled very professionally including the quote and recommendations from Paul, and the installation completed professionally on time. After the first summer storm the Leaf Eaters have worked perfectly to keep the gutters clean. Would have no hesitation to use this company again for future roof or guttering jobs.
