Not sure how they got such high ratings on reviews.

I went there for a simple bob hairstyle cut but was surprised the haircut reflects a lack of experience of the hairstylist. Also while trying to fix the imperfections I pointed out towards the end of my haircut, another seemingly more senior staff instructed my hairdresser in Korean to move on with another customer who just walked in. Highly unprofessional in giving customer satisfaction.

Today was my fourth time doing permanent hair straightening at SUA Hair Studio, and can I just say, they did an amazing job, every single time! They are friendly and welcoming from the first point of contact till the very end and also very detail-oriented. They also constantly check if the customers are comfortable throughout the procedures and ensures that we know what they are using for our hair. Also the end result is long-lasting, as my hair texture stayed straight and smooth from last time I did it which was over a year ago. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

Great customer service - staff were friendly, and I even got served some fabulous korean coffee :) I went in for a cut, treatment and a digital perm, and they did a great job and even created volume at the top of my hair, which had looked really flat and lifeless prior to the perm. I also appreciated that they taught me how to style and maintain the curls. The only downside is that its a little more expensive to get a digital perm here.

I had my Shiseido Crystalizing permanent straightening from SUA hair and it turned out great as I never satisfied from anywhere I had my rebonding done(Even shiseido one as well) from heaps of salons in Melbourne.. Most of times it turned out frizzy or even it was still straight, after few days or weeks I had a lot of split ends. I doubted a bit before I start as I had a bad experience even with "Shiseido straightening solution" last year. and now I realised that it is more than important to get a right hairdresser regardless of WHAT PRODUCT THEY USE. Pros : Friendly service, Nice coffee, Got me a fresh ice-cold water with lemon slice in there! (only small thing but something different to others! :)) Explained very well about each steps and always bring a solution before they mixing up rather than mixing up at the back room (sometime we got no idea what they using on my hair), Quick and perfect outcome. Cons : Waiting area(seats) are limited. Didn't get much chance to talk to hairdressers as they were pretty busy. Only 1 hour parking at the back (public) so had to move my car even an hour (finally I was told by them I could park at the Hotel near there). Overall : Excellent, but they might need to try to chat more with the customers :) (Only for ppl who like to chat like me though.. :) ) Thanks for my sparkling shiny straight hair, I'm lovin' it! :)

I have always wanted curly hair but mine was strong and dead straight. Steve and the crew at SUA gave me a beautiful, natural looking perm and explained each step of the process. I was incredibly happy with the result and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a change. You'll be in safe hands!

I cannot stop recommending this place enough! Top hairdresser in Melbourne hands down! I had Steve as my hairdresser and I am thoroughly impressed - not just by his vast knowledge of hair but also of the hospitality that was provided throughout my time there. I went in there with brittle, over-bleached hair and came out with an amazing new colour and also, a much healthier hair. Honestly, check this salon out - you will not regret it! GRADE A!

Love the place and friendly staffs, love Steve's work. Steve patiently spent about an hour, on my hair from cutting to Straightening and then wax and other materials. He taught me how to straighten my hair, how to take care of them and so on. Very reasonable price too, definitely will come back.

Appointment at 3pm today and stepped out with all happy about my hair. Steve gave me a honestly advising for my hair colour n style. The thing that I loved more than another salon is he spent time for my hair and really details, another salon the owner setting up the time for staff to do hair cut for customer but this one is owner n also hair dresser as well so not really rush like the other. Love my hair style, love my colour, love Sua. Thanks Steve. Definitely will come back and highly recommended.
