I like to pick up some take away from here for my family after a busy day of shopping. Always reliable, always tasty and fresh. Staff are always very pleasant and quick in preparing my order.

Never been disappointed here, always reliable. I love their sushi, their menu is huge so I like to try something different each time, everything is so fresh and the servings are generous, the staff very quick with your order, so it's great when you just want takeaway. Definitely recommend.

Now and then after a big day of shopping I like to surprise the family with some take away from here. They have such a huge menu, so much choice and the prices are so reasonable, that I usually buy a few extras. Also, the staff seem to be really happy that they work there, always smiling. Hardly any waiting time for my order. Perfect!

I have only had take away from here as it really isn't a place to eat in, hardly any space to sit and eat. But they do the best take away food, huge menu, very generous servings, very reasonably priced (from $9.50 per main meal) and fast friendly service. What more could you ask for? Chicken with Szechuan Sauce and Lemon Chicken are favourites for me. The only problem you will have is choosing which meal/s to have as there are 129 meal options. Good Luck and ENJOY!

I went in to Subaru to get some dumpling soup and came away surprised I could still walk! The serve was generous, the flavours delicious and the menu extensive - I've tried a different thing each visit (usually with a spring onion pancake) and am yet to find something I wouldn't recommend. Great comfort food when you need it, and fresh sushi as well! Shame there is no eftpos available.

I picked up some take away from here yesterday on my way home, it wasn't my first time and it wont be my last. They make the best Salt & Pepper Pork Spare Ribs and Salt & Pepper Calamari. Have also tried their Spicy King Prawn & Squid, absolutely delicious, incredible fresh taste and the prices really are reasonable starting from around $9.50 for a main meal. I have never seen such a large extensive menu with over "100" meals to choose from. You can eat in, but there aren't very many tables, I prefer take away. Also the servings are very generous and the staff are very quick and friendly. My only complaint is figuring out what to order! Definitely recommend you try.

While Subaru Sushi & Noodle Bar sell fresh sushi, they are much much more, selling a huge range of Japanese takeaway and Chinese style dishes. You can eat in although there are only a few tables and it's more of a takeaway place than a restaurant. The food is always delicious, prepared to perfection and the serves are HUGE! You certainly get a big feed for your money yet they definitely aren't sacrificing quality for quantity. This is the only takeaway place in Mt Barker that I want to go back to again and again.
