Sumo salad is fantastic in terms of the variety of salads they offer. warm or cold, protein or veg, carbs or no carbs. It is a good on the go food option. The down sides however, are the price and nutrition. Not all salads are healthy, and it so happens that Sumo salad douse their salads with a lot of dressing. Opt for the custom made on the spot salads, and you will get a better value for $ and more healthy experience.

On a recent trip to Melbourne I discovered Sumo Salads in Bourke St also in the Southern Cross station and just loved their offereings: such variety and the staff were really helpful. I'll be back for sure . I just wish tghey would hurry up and come to Hobart.

Well I dined at the Southern Cross Station Sumo Salad and had the Thai Chicken and found it delicious. Would go back for more when next time in Melbourne. Wish they had one up here in Bendigo.

Great tasting food, a fair few vegan options (noted on the handy staff cheat sheet it seems), try the wild rice salad.
Very impressed with the Sumo Salad franchise, hope to see more around.

I am always satisfied with both the taste and portions of sumo salad. Their variety is great and they make salads to order. Very delicious without the guilt of fast food.

The service was a little slow, despite their friendliness. I think whoever was serving me was merely a beginner. The food isn't all that great either.

The food is always in good presenting and look delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Their coffee is a so-so but you can always get soft drinks instead. Not cheap, though. Perfect for a light lunch.

great idea, but the quality of the food doesnt follow. not cheap as well. could get better at a cafe/bistro for not that much more in cost. better than other fast food if in a hurry. cold tuff better than hot. if u get in early, salads still ok.

Sumo salad is a healthy alternative for fast food. They have varuious hot and cold salads which come served in noodle boxes. They also have wraps. yoghurts and fruit. The customer service is good but it can be a little slow over the busy luch time due to it's popularity.
