Staying at this hotel was not unpleasant, but the rooms looked old and warn out, the amenities were sparse and it didn't feel luxurious at all. The romance package sounded great on paper but the chocolates were just a box of 5 ferrerro rocher's just left on the table and at the restaurant it was a set menu of mediocre seafood for the Gold Coast. It was all pretty disappointing considering the marriott's good name and reputation. The only upside was how close it was to Cavil Ave.

Easy to get to by tram, you have the convenience of all the gothic clothing and accessories at your fingertips. The staff are quite reserved but it's good because I don't like being bothered whilst shopping. They stock a wide variety of brands and are happy to order things in for you. Probably the best gothic shop in Melbourne.

This cafe is pure luxury. The cafe looks like a ballroom and the drinks, meals and sweets are simply divine. This cafe is a regular of mine and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, however the cafe can get quite busy sometimes but it's definitely worth the wait. Try the macaroons and the hot chocolates, simply divine.

I absolutely love this store, most of my clothes are from City Chic. The staff are super helpful and trendy and I always feel dolled up in their clothing. It can be a bit pricey but the sales they have are great! I would definitely recommend this store to any plus size gal!

This is definitely a staple cafe for me and my boy, as the variety is vast and the quality is always great. From Greek to Mexican to their Italian wood fired pizzas this place is sure to please the whole family.

The food here is so, so good I could eat there for years. The fries are hand cut and freshly cooked and the specialty sauces are just so divine. The burgers are morish and I would have never guessed the place was 100% vegetarian! They even have vegan and gluten free options. Delicious all round and has been a regular of mine since moving to Melbourne.

I love mexican food and Salsa's do mexican well. They're a fast food restaurant more than a sit down dinner so you get what you pay for in the way of quality meat but everything sure is tasty. The burritos are my favourite, they really fill you up and are so delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The chips, I'm not so fond of as crinkle cut deep fried potato doesn't really say mexican to me but the rest of the menu is ace!

The atmosphere, the food, drinks and design of the place is truly mexican. The food is just delicious, with variety plates available so you can have a taste of everything. The traditional sangria is a favourite and their bar is just divine. I'd definitely recommend this to a mexican lover

The food isn't great but the margaritas are just to die for! The food portions are small and pricey and I found weren't very traditional. More of a modernized mexican restaurant. Eg: sweet nachos as a dessert. Worked ok, but just not traditional.

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The variety is large, the flavours are fantastic and there are monthly limited edition doughnuts! There is usually a long line for it but it's worth the wait and they also do a great coffee.
