Great little book shop for finding great design, art and photography books. They are more than happy to order a book in for you if you cant find it and they have lovely customer service.

I love bookstores and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. Set to the side of the iconic Sun Theatre this shop stocks a great array of titles and is a wonderful way to kill time before a movie starts. More often than not ill walk away from the Sun having seen a movie and with a new book to read! Prices are about normal bookshop standard. Service is great.

A lovely little bookshop with a great range of titles despite it's size. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. The bookshop also hosts a range of events and has started an adaption club in conjunction with the cinema next door of books made into movies. I am making an effort to support this little Gem as I would hate bookshops to become a thing of the past.

this tiny bookshop is literally brimming with treasures and how nice that it has managed to survive in this climate of the everpresent epidemic of franchise! the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and always up for a chat and as it is annexed off the exquisite sun theatre, what better place to while away your time, waiting for your cinema date, than losing yourself in the world of sun books.

It's a very cosy place that is right next to the beautiful Sun Theatre.I recon it's really cute how it doesn't keep having the same boring books and keep stoking up on crap but new and interesting books that people enjoy and aren't sorted out into comedy and romance and that stuff that Borders has.

If you like little specialty bookstores, this one is fab! It often stocks a local publication on the history of Footscray & Yarraville, and also has some really unique books that the major stores don't carry. It's a bookstore like I remember from my childhood, before the Mega-Stores opened.

I agree the Sun is a bright spot in the West! I really like the Younger Sun across the road which specialises in books for the younger readers.
