Not the best looking place - could do with a major revamp however the food is by far the best chinese cuisine ive had since moving to Australia 6 years ago. Left stuffed to the brim full of delicious food. Oysters and schezchuan steak was out of this world. Staff were also very nice people. Will definately be back. Highly recommended!

Late-night, bustling Chinese restaurant with live seafood and large share plates in a modest space. The BBQ Pork is amazing

I was at Supper Inn last week. We tried some of their signatures dishes e.g. sweet and sour pork, fried golden chicken, scallop with Chinese Broccoli and little suckling pig. The food were awesome, the price were relatively cheap compared to other Chinese restaurant nearby. The service was great and the food were served promptly. There are very limited tables so make sure you book before you pop in, otherwise, you need to wait for at least 15-20 minutes for a table.

I'm very fussy when it comes to Asian cuisine, and I was a bit wary walking down the alleyway to Supper Inn. It was a Tuesday night and the place was booked out upstairs so they opened up the bottom part of the restaurant. Decor is nothing fancy at all, quite the opposite, but the food absolutely made up for it!! Delicious and I cannot wait to go back! 5 stars for the food, but only gave 3 because of the surroundings.

Whilst not rated particularly high on the usual parameters this is a Melbourne icon serving Cantonese style cuisine until very late into the night. After decades it has slowly accepted some innervations, for them, like reservations and credit cards. Food is good without being excellent. One thing they do very well is congee with about 8 different contents including tendon! Prices are low, wines inexpensive too

As the name suggest, this is the place for supper. Especially on saturday night after a night out with the girls. The prices are average and foods have been consistently OK. The place look a bit dodgy and dirty though.

What I love about this restaurant is ... They serve delicious food and opens till late! which is awesome! This restaurant is always crowded.. so it is better to make a reservation first before you come in ( if you have 4 people and above)..

Best congee in Melbourne and I hate congee. I have been living in Singapore, KL and Jakarta for years and when I come to Melbourne, I go to Supper Inn. Open late, great food - always a crowd so you can have faith that the food is fresh. There are a number of good items on the menu - plus a great specials wall. MUST GO THERE

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Loved their Mud-crab with ginger and spring onion. Their duck soup is the best in Melbourne. Highly recommended.

We go here all the time! It's open late (2am I think) and the blinds are always rolled down so you never know what time of day it is. Feels like something out of a Jacki Chan movie.
Food is always fanastic and fast, and actually tastes fresh. The waiters never change, and the place is always full! Very good value for money here! And make sure to try the quail!! Mmmm
