I like Sushiya, but the one in Atarmon, not the one in Chatswood.

The food: quality food, tasty, and authentic.
The service: Now this is where I am real unhappy. To me it's plain rude to take your plates without asking customers. ESPECIALLY when you take miso bowl which they offer refills.

I think no business should be taking away plates off the table without asking the people who are still eating. This has happened a number of times, clearly not happy with em.

However I guess you won't have to worry about it all if you're taking away. Oh some tables are wobbly.

The first thing I ordered was the miso soup and it was good. The sushi was fine, I don't eat sashimi but my husband does. He said it was fresh and fantastic!

Not too heavy food, excellent presentation. Friendly family atmosphere, not terribly upmarket. Wide variety of traditional Japanese dishes from nasu dengaku to edemame. My favourite is the teriyaki chicken and their sashimi is very good also.

Approximate cost: $18

The food is great quality and tastes great, but it is a little expensive, although the portions are decent. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean. Sometimes they get really busy, so it is important to book ahead.

Approximate cost: $15
