It's always a bit daunting going to someones business ran from home but Susie gets a 10 out of 10 for her business.

As I'm get older (48) I really have to start thinking about my health a lot more and Bowen is gentle and gives great results.

I have found Susie to be highly efficient and reliable in matters of scheduling. Her massages are very enjoyable because of her skill in getting the job done without causing pain, and she works intuitively to know what's needed in the moment. So each experience is different but I invariably leave feeling relaxed and floaty!

I have had a lower back problem for the last 10 plus years and had thought I had tried everything to relieve the pain. I visited Susie when i was at the stage of barely being able to walk without excessive pain. Susie treated me using the Bowen Technique for a stabbing pain through my groin after a long bike ride. I was in quite a bit of pain but was nervous about the treatment due to the location of the pain. Susie used a Bowen move on my inner ankle and lower back, and the pain disappeared. Bowen Therapy is amazing! From a client's point of view, it can be almost magical. We've also worked on my chronic wrist pain and my ankle pain caused by heel spurs with success. The wrist pain still returns af couple of weeks after a treatment, probably because I am still doing whatever causes it. However, with monthly Bowen, I am managing the problem.

After suffering a terrible fall and breaking my hip, I went to see Susie for a number of Bowen Therapy sessions. I was experiencing pain in my back, hips and legs and felt like everything was "out of place". Bowen Therapy definitely helped. My mobility improved, my pain levels decreased, I felt more in-line and my back was a lot looser. It was a very relaxing treatment that could be used alongside my physiotherapy sessions.

I go to Bowen Therapy to assist with my back which is curved and also painful if left untreated for long periods. I find Susie Orr's service second to none - she is professional, very knowledgeable, sensitive to my needs and her business has a certain 'polish' to it - small details such as aromatherapy in the room and relaxing music to put one in the right frame of mind for treatment. I also enjoy visiting her semi-rural location - it is a 'whole' experience for me. My body feels better from top to toe when I receive regular Bowen Therapy treatments. However when the therapist delivers such a wonderful atmosphere as well, my mind itself feels renewed - like I have left reality for a while and am in a 'healing zone'. I had tried many different sorts of treatments for the constant tightness and pain in my shoulders, Susies treatments with her massage and Bowen therapy have made a tremendous difference. My doctor recommended i try Bowen Therapy for 2 reasons: (1) for degenerating discs in my neck which caused constant pain; and (2) for hopefully reducing blood pressure.(which medication doesn't help much.) I had heard of Bowen,but didn't know anyone who had tried it, so i googled for a practitioner in my area. I loved Susie's website in that she actually explained to the novice reader exactly what Bowen Therapy was. After 2 treatments i was able to drive for 6 hours straight with NO neck pain. My neck is still great and it's 3 weeks since my last treatment. I found Susie a very caring person, and committed to making sure that i was getting full benefit from the treatment. I decided to try Bowen Therapy due to problems with my hips for the last 12 months and ongoing vertigo. After only 1 month of treatments I am pain free in my hips and no current vertigo attacks. I was suffering with serious back pain caused from scoliosis. i went to my doctor and was sent to physio therapy which helped but i was given stretching exercises to do each day but given that when wake up i can hardly bend over and reach my knees, these exercises were soon proved null. after that i was given prescription pain killers which i was soon taking more than the prescribed dosage. After months and months of being in pain, my mum heard about Susie and after a quick examination by susie she determined that bowen therapy was a good way for me to go. having done everything else i was more than willin to give it a try. Susie was amazing. She cares very deeply about what she does and I was more than comfortable with her and I knew she wasn't taking advantage of me. After the first treatment I was a little stiff but as the days progressed i realised that the pain was easing. After the second treatment i could stretch and dance again which i really enjoy doing. I could bend and stretch and lift thins at work again too. After the third treatment Susie said i was ready to discontinue my treatments and come back anytime i felt the pain coming back. It has been about two months since my last treatment with susie and i have yet to have a painkiller or complain about pain. Susie is trustworthy, reliable and honest. A few weeks ago I found Susan Orr on the Internet and decided to try some Bowen Therapy treatment. I had been suffering lower back pain off and on for many years. At the time I visited Susan it was about 1.5 weeks away from me having to co-ordinate a major event where I would be required to stand from 5:30 am until after midnight on one day; followed by the next two days of standing up from 5:30 am until 7:00 pm. At the time, even the thought of having to stand for these extended periods of time was painful. I commenced treatment and within one (1) week the pain was entirely gone and I have not had any recurring pain since. The treatment is gentle and nothing short of a God send. I thoroughly recommend Susan Orr and the Bowen Therapy treatment that she performs.

I Have had chronic fatigue syndrome since last June and also have had anxiety and stress. I have attended Susie for two weeks now and have noticed a huge improvement in my energy levels. A few years ago my knee popped out and I have never been able to straighten it properly and tended to overcompensate for the injury resulting in bad gait. My hamstrings were always really tight even though I do yoga. Also my back was very tense , I was once told my stress tightens my back.
Could not believe after one visit my leg was straightening and my back less tense, Than after the second visit it was incredible , my leg is great, my gait now is even and the tension in my back gone. I haven't felt this good in years.

Really impressed with Susie. She absolutely knows what she is doing. I was referred to Susie by my acupuncturist for migraines stemming from a jaw issue. After only two sessions, my jaw pain is greatly reduced, hardly clicking anymore, not getting stuck - it's fantastic! I can not believe something so simple and easy could be so effective. Susie did a review of my entire body to see what else was 'out of order' and has been able to fix problems with my pelvis after a fast childbirth with a big baby and is addressing issues from the surgery I had to remove my gallbladder (which didn't go well).
