Hotel reopened yesterday 9 November 2021. We enjoyed bistro lunch in beer garden area. Plenty of cover for both sun and rain. Bistro food quite good.

The Sussex Hotel had some great lunch deals on when we went there a couple of Saturdays ago. It is really nice sitting in the courtyard and having a drink.

Sussex is where many people come to have drinks after work. I personally had chicken popcorn and it was pretty good but quite pricy at the same time. staff are nice, nice place.

I enjoy coming to The Sussex Hotel for after work drinks and work lunches. Upstairs is really nicely decorated and classy, it is nice place to hang out at. The bistro there is really good, great quality pub food.

Great place to come for a drink after work, $8 cocktails from 5 to 7pm on Friday. Glass of champagne for $6.80. We had a share platter for $12.00 - beautiful tender calamari and tartare sauce and plenty of it. Nicely decorated and there are seats out the back in the courtyard where you can watch the Barangaroo construction proceeding, or you can sit inside if you like. Gets quite busy but the service is good. Thai restaurant upstairs but I haven't tried it yet.
