Suzie Wong's room is brilliant!

The atmosphere is just perfect. You can sit in a little window booth, or at the bar where you can have a chat with one of the genuine, friendly bar staff or the bubbly, engaging owner Nina herself.

The food is amazing. The name of the place is a cheeky misdirect; although the decor is gorgeous 50s/60s Chinoiserie Kitsch, the menu is Polish cuisine, and all the better for it.
Stand outs are the Kranski and the INCREDIBLE stuffed cabbage leaves. Once I ate here for a romantic dinner, and the quality of the food just made us so open and relaxed with one another!

I've come back since then for another helping of their wonderful hospitality and perfect, home cooked Polish goodness. I would put this restaurant in my top four for Adelaide!

I can't even gush enough. I don't know why this place isn't more widely known; to me it's an icon. A definite must to visit whether you're an out of town visitor or a local who has yet to discover this gem.
