Worst experience ever

I experienced significant challenges during the repair process of my car through an insurance claim. The commencement date was rescheduled four times by Swains, resulting in a seven-month delay. Upon picking up my car after three weeks of “repairs”, I observed overspray on the lights from the replaced front scoop kit. To fix the overspray which they created they advised me on how to remove it, I declined. Furthermore, the vents in the kit retained the original damage, with Swains explanation that they weren't included in the initial quote and wouldn't be replaced. The communication and overall professionalism were one star throughout the entire process.

Do not use this repair place. Terrible communication, sloppy workmanship and overall just a bad bad organisation.

i would not recommend this business . Iwas sent to this repairer by my insurance company [qbe] and was told they required the car 22nd Oct till 4th Nov when i phoned them to see what time the vehicle would be ready i was told it would not be ready until the 10th Nov WED. I rang on monday 8th and was told it was on track to be ready by tie time given.I rang on the 10th to see what time to pick it up and was told it would not be ready until the next day. I said i required it by 10am when i rang on the 11th i was told it could not be redy by then as the paint was still wet. at no time did the company contact me . each time i rang i had to try several times and when i did get through i felt i was being given the run around
at one point i asked of a manager the name and contact for the owner i was told he didn't know. i feel this business is money hungry and takes on as much work as they can regardless of their clients very poor attitude as far as i am conserned

Couldn’t recommend these guys enough, booked in by my insurer, communication was A1, repairs as good and new, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy after the repair being delayed just one day due to waiting on parts (out of their control). Appreciate the care and service to my car. Thank you

I was sent by my insurer. The repair was done in the stated time. However, when I returned home I noticed the sill under the door was still dented. I immediately returned to Swains. They said that we had stated it was not part of the accident. I said there was no way we would have said that. However, they re booked it in and did the repairs without any issue. The overall result was excellent after I took it back. They were very communicative with me.

I would not recommend this business. I was sent there by my insurance company following a minor accident that was my fault. They initially said they would need it for a week but then needed it for an extra 4 days which I didn't find out until I went to collect it on the first day I was told it would be ready. I rang that morning and was told it was on track to be ready. They tried to ring me later that morning but we couldn't hear each other. They chose not to try again and did not leave a message. On the day I finally picked up my car, they once again rang but only let the phone ring twice before hanging up. At least this time I knew the number so I rang them back. When I picked it up, a warning light was on and the clock and radio was out of synch but they claimed it was nothing to do with them and tried to fob me off. Will NEVER go back there again!!!
