We went on a Friday afternoon for our dog who was very sick. It was very busy, and a long wait but it is a lot cheaper than other places in the area. We had a trainee vet nurse and she needed to get assistance from the vet.

Approximate cost: $100

I took my cat there. I didn't go for a diagnosis but to ask an opinion on what they would suggest for treatment. (I allready knew what was wrong with my cat). They got scared of my hissing cat! Maybie not overly experienced in handling a cat. Was not given the attention I expected, was told to go to a specialist. Got charged for 2 minutes of their time! I think their interests are more in dogs than cats. Waiting room said it all, not one cat in sight. Unfortunately i was very disappointed.

Approximate cost: $50

A Hissing cat generally means a scared cat and they tend to take it out by biting next... I'd be scared too. Even a vet or vet nurse wouldn't want to be biten.
