I also love this place. So great to have access to fantastic tasting authentic ethnic foods. Great variety of tinned basics, some fabulously different tinned and bottled goodies. The frozen kibbeh is delicious, as is the falafel. Not to mention the perfect turkish delight.

It's a new business, only about a fortnight old. Mostly deals Turkish groceries and spices including the famous Seven Spice as used by Shane Delia on SBS, with some Lebanese and Syrian products as well. The aroma of the spices is something we just don't normally get here in Townsville. Lots of user-friendly canned goods, moderately priced, and terrific for putting a quick meal together. They have a small freezer section, wherein one can buy a kibbeh (spicy meat in a casing of bourghul wheat, shaped like a flattened pie - delicious!) big enough to feed 4 people as entree, for $8. It's easy to lose half an hour in there, just sniffing and looking. I shouldn't forget, either, that they have Turkish style sweets too, including a circular Turkish Delight wrapped in nougat, which is worth the drive out there on its own.

Approximate cost: $some items cheaper than Woolies equivalent
