Sweet Chilli Thai Restaurant

We really enjoy this little local. They have some great traditional flavours. Pad Thai is delish! Staff are friendly and service quick.

Reasonable prices, good Thai food. They are the only restaurant that charges the same price on Christmas Day compared to other restaurants where they bump up the prices by 100%.

The menu here is large, and according to the name of the place, a lot of the items contain chili. You would expect that.
They present the different meals attractively, using a variety of crockery. The meal size is generous. Friends who had the calamari said it was beautifully tender. I had Pad Thai and only just managed to finish it, someone else who had it had to take some home because there was too much.
Be warned: out front of the restaurant it is only a one hour parking limit.

this is a great place. i have had the banquet a few times. the soup is fantastic. the meat is tender and the coconut ice cream is lovely. the restaurant is decorated nicely and its a great place to go with a group of friends.

Lovely main courses and entree's. We usally get the satay sticks and rice. Oh and the banana fritters are delicious. The decor is rather simple and I found the restaurant to be very cold at times. Apart from that a great place.

My friends and I come here often and are never disappointed. The place is always packed but food always arrives promptly anyway and the service is great. The only drawback is that it is often quite full and noisy so it's not the best idea to take someone here on a date. Much better to come with a group of friends who can add to the noise! Food is decent and reasonably priced, try the chicken pad thai!

The best coconut rice and roti bread around! Have not been able to find better anywhere so far. Lovely staff but the restaurant at peak times can be very loud so don't go there if you want to chat intimately with someone. Had my Mum's 50th birthday there a few years ago and I cannot praise the staff's organisation and attention to detail on the night any higher. Fantastic - go there and try the food for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely lovely. Went with a big group and we all had a great time! Food was excellent. Will be going back many times!

I was pleasantly surprised with this Thai restaurant! The food was lovely and so was the service. My partner and I had takeaway and we were amazed at how cheap everything was! Mains were no more expensive than $13! The portion sizes were large and I only ate half of mine (with rice) and will eat the other half for lunch tomorrow! We will definitely be going back here again :)

I love this small Thai restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is always great. I have eaten here at least a dozen times and it is consistently good.

Have both eaten in and got takeaway from here, and it definitely rates amongst my Top Thai Treats! Special tip - although the prawn crackers are often free at these places, they are worth paying for here and you do get a lot!

My first hand experience was brilliant. Their service and food was great. There was so much food to eat from the banquet for 10 people that we all took doggy bags home.

A great little Thai restaurant, big serves for a good price. And the food tastes authentic. A nice, quiet restaurant that I get to as often as possible.

Have eaten at many Thai restaurants, definitely not one of the best. Soup was good, main was boring and lacked flavour.

The food is fantastic, the ambiance is really nice, though on busy canterbury rd, its quiet and intimate inside. The food is good value and the service has always been quite good.

A great Thai restaurant. I have only ever ordered take out and have received very speedy service. The food is lovely and there is enough to have for a second meal....or a very large meal if so inclined.

Yummy food, attentive wait staff, reasonable prices, extensive menu, including some buffets. I've eaten here a number of times, and love the food! I've eaten with large groups, and we're all happy with the menu and the prices. Last time I was there, they packaged the leftovers for us to take home.
