Wow this is the place to keep coming back to for a great meal. The busy crowd at the front every time will attest to that. The eggs benedict is the best, but so are the cauliflower, salmon gravlax and smashed pumpkin dishes!
My biggest gripe is they are super super slow on coffee for dine in. Twice we ordered coffee on being seated and they arrived towards the end of the meal 30-40 minutes later!
They seem to prioritise take-away coffees.

This has been my favourite cafe in melbourne for the past 2 years as their food is just so good. they always have friendly and helpful staff around and there's never a dull moment for me and my friends when we're at tall timber

The food here is definitely one of the best in Melbourne. Not only are the staff nice, but the food is delicious and it is a great place to brunch. The toilets are nice and clean, and also smell good which is a bonus.

Really enjoy a Saturday mornings breaky with friends there and will be back again.
Coffee was great and the service just as good too.
Found a park easy enough and did some shopping on the way back home

A great coffee option for the area. It can get pretty busy during brunch (especially when waiting for take away) but is definitely worth a stop in to sample the great coffee and funky design. The space conveniently has both individual and communal tables which is always a plus. My favourite thing on the menu right now is the Timber Benedict, pulled pork for breakfast, where can you go wrong?
