My husband and I were sent to buy "fish and chips" by his mum (Nanny) who was looking after some of her Grandchildren - aged 7-12 years, 3 boys and a girl. We were quite spoiled for choice & couldn't decide. The very, very helpful lady at the counter asked if she could help. Of course we said "Yes please!!". She asked how many people we were trying to feed & we tole her 3 adults and 4 children, but really 2 of the children would eat adult servings. So it ended up being 5 adults & 2 children... We got 5 pieces of fish battered but cut in half before cooking, 7 potato scallops, $10 worth of chips - with chicken salt of course!! It cost around $46, so just over $6 per person. It was perfect with none left over and all plates licked clean. It was the quietest meal ever, as the kids were all too busy munching and enjoying their food :) Very helpful staff and wonderful food!!

I used to go to this store all the time and still do when I am on the gold coast. They always have large portions of chips and often chuck in an extra calamari in the fish chips and calamari pack. They also give you real salads with your meal not just lettuce, the greek salad is delicious. They do a really good burger with the lot too (its got egg!! yum!)
