Love takin the family across the ferry onto tangalooma. We enjoy the snorkelling and all the island has to offer. Can be a great holiday or we just do day trips.

When we visit Tangalooma, this is the place we stay. comfortable and affordable accommodation. Everything is within walking distance. Lots of free activities for the kids and wife and I. Ifeel my wife and I reconnect when we go here. Kids go off doing their own thing and we will play tennis and grab a drink at the bar. As a family we will go see the dolphins. Just a great place.

In our Families opinion, this is the only place to stay when at Tangalooma! The resort offers many free activities, the children and us adults are never bored. Not to mention the beautiful water is only a few feet away. Close to dining, everything within walking distance. We generally stay here for 5 nights and get great deals. Something for everyone!

If you're looking for a chance to get up close with dolphins and birds, this is the place to stay. Lovely accommodation and nice restaurants, but I LOVED feeding the dolphins, as did my partner.

This is something that everyone should have a chance to do! Cannot tell you how much we loved it.

the absolute BEST place to stay for activities and wildlife encounters.

We came here solely because of the dolphin feeding, and were not concerned about the cost (lucky for us because it wasn't cheap), and were not disappointed. I also enjoyed all the bird life, being a big fan of birds.

We took snorkelling gear and just lazed about in the water and swam wherever our mood took us.

Room was clean and well-appointed and the staff were lovely. Restaurant we ate in was nice but not WOW.

Approximate cost: $300pn

One of the best places I have ever stayed, there is so much to do here! Food and accommodation are a little pricy but everything is at your fingertips. We had so much fun on boat tours, sand tobogganing, swimming, quad bike tours, visiting the man made shipwrecks! There are lots of places to eat and the food is amazing! Comfy beds and good rooms.

I loved staying at Tangalooma, transport leaves from near Hamilton and there is parking available, the trip across to the island was very quick and comfortable and we saw two whales.
The room was clean and comfortable, we tried out the bar, ate dinner in one of the restaurants and enjoyed a buffet breakfast the next day.
There is lots to do on the island most importantly the dolphin feeding which I loved. I'd definitely return to Tangalooma, it's beautiful.

We generally wouldn't have rated this resort as high if we had paid full price. We came here for 3 nights on a Travelzoo Voucher ($419) which we considered a bargain compared to the usual price (~$275 per night). Upon arrival it was clear that some aspects of the resort were slightly run down and outdated however it was great to see some renovations going on in the restaurants. Our room in C Block had a kitchenette, modern furnishings and soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, body lotion and shaving cream provided in wall dispensers (YAY). Each accommodation block has free BBQ facilities so while food is expensive you can BYO and save. There are plenty of free activities scheduled throughout the day including bird feeding, tennis, archery, squash, kookaburra feeding, catamaran lessons and many more. We chose to go on a quad bike tour at $58 per head for an hour and loved it! We also took our own snorkelling gear and walked the 1km to the wrecks instead of paying for a snorkelling tour. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great 3 night stay.
