I only went here once and I booked an appointment that morning for half an hour later. When i got there i waited 45 min for the doctor without and explanations from the receptionists. In the end i told them i was leaving then 15 min later they rang me asking where i was and why i wasn't there for my appointment

Taringa medical centre are good for "emergencies" which aren't quite serious enough for a hospital visit but don't expect a fantastic enjoyable experience. It found it easy to get a same day appointment and if they couldnt fit me in, they allowed me to wait and see if any time could be spared. I only waited 45 minutes which was great. The doctors are quite brisk and abrupt, the reception staff aren't the most welcoming but they get the job done. The fees are EXPENSIVE so only go if its urgent. The pharmacy next door has extended opening hours which is handy.

The prices are a bit expensive but that is to be expected. However when I needed emergency care the receptionist and the nurse and doctor were empathetic and really cared about my condition. When I was ill it was 7am on a weekend so it was not busy and I was seen very quickly.

i think this place is horrible. I didn't find it easy to get an appointment, they do not bulk bill and charged rates above what i believe is standard (i could be wrong). I wasnt impressed with the doctor whosaw me either and i wish i'd just stayed home instead.

This is a large Medical Centre with what seems like heaps and heaps of Doctors on all the time.

You can always get in to see a doctor on short notice, as long as you dont mind seeing a doctor who isnt your usual one.

I think I paid $60 for my last consult which I got back $35 if I remember correctly, but I do know they bulk bill for kids and Pensioners depending on which doctor you see.
