We took the kids to the zoo, which for us was a five hour drive. We made a weekend of it and had a brilliant time.The zoo is huge, diverse, wonderfully laid out and really interesting to explore. The ticket got us two days, so the first one we wandered around on foot. On the second day, we took the car in (no extra charge) and drove around, stopping at points we wanted to explore more. Best times. Kids adored it.

A great range of good quality soft toys, t-shirts, hats, books, jewellery and souvenirs, mostly featuring the animals featured in the nearby zoo. We found some nice gifts there and all purchases help financially toward the taronga zoo for the care and protection of animals.
The store is open 9am to 4pm every day, friendly staff. You can visit the shop without having to enter the zoo.
