We had an entire new kitchen installed, including appliances that we'd purchased elsewhere. Mark came out and measured up, allowing for the removal of the existing kitchen (which we did ourselves) and the replacement of the gyprock which made it slightly thicker. After quoting, Mark came out a second time to double-check (thorough) and we went ahead.

Everything fitted perfectly and we were very happy with value. The appliances we'd bought were installed free.

Later, when I decided to put in a floating floor, the lads came up and removed a bench leg and an end panel for me, cut them down by a couple of mill and put them back in, GRATIS.

Today, I took down a broken door panel (my fault) and they've going to get a new one for me, which I expect to pay for.

Perfect service, absolute skill - the fitters are completely on the ball. Polite, clean work, just perfect.

We took the kids to the zoo, which for us was a five hour drive. We made a weekend of it and had a brilliant time. The zoo is huge, diverse, wonderfully laid out and really interesting to explore. The ticket got us two days, so the first one we wandered around on foot. On the second day, we took the car in (no extra charge) and drove around, stopping at points we wanted to explore more. Best times. Kids adored it.

Approximate cost: $140 (2 Adults, 4 kids)

We buy tropical fish for our lounge-room aquarium here. We actually got our tank, pumps, filters, weeds and shipwreck from here. I reckon I could spend half an hour just looking at all the little models for the tank when I visit - downed planes, shipwrecks, all kinds of amazing little things.

We take our smallest kids in there and they put little nose prints on all the tanks - there must be sixty kinds of fish there. There's even a few display tanks with unusual looking fish in it (not for sale) that's worth a look.

Good price, good service and great range, with advice that has always worked out for us.

This review is for O'Neills Tyres, Kurri Kurri NSW

We've had tyres replaced on several vehicles over a few years. They have also serviced our brakes, fitted a new exhaust pipe and done the Rego check each year for five years for us.

Friendly, knowledgeable, down-to-earth blokes like Jim and Bob are getting harder to find now and we really appreciated being looked after properly. It was good to be able to leave the car there and say what time I'd be back and for the car to be ready at that time, no excuses.

Approximate cost: $100 a tyre

Several takeaways have occupied this shop and this is the best of them all. The menu is very broad, the food presentation and quality are excellent. The place is sparkling clean and the service friendly and pleasant.

We phone order and walk up (in five minutes) to get veggie burger, large chips, Caesar sub and fish cocktails for the kids. Always ready. If Gordon Ramsay did Fish and Chips, he wouldn't make it better.

Wife and I had drinks followed by dinner - very happy with the quality and cost of the meal. Had Bruschetta, bangers and mash, with a beer. Barman slightly grumpy looking, but did a good job. Service very quick at the restaurant. We eat out a fair bit and this place is in our top five.

Approximate cost: $50

Bill has re-wired each part of our home as we've progressed through a staged renovation. He's also fitted fans, lights, extractors and done heaps of extra power points, cable ducts and cable routing at the office.

Perfect work, good cleanup afterwards, pleasant, ALWAYS on time, does what he says - can't ask for more.

I wish there were six stars on the value side of it especially.

This is where we eat when we want a blow-out. All you can eat buffet of the best sort with vegetarian options and every possible kind of meat and side dishes. I can't remember a better all you can eat buffet and that includes Sizzlers and some of those I tried in the USA.

Approximate cost: $17 lunch total

We eat here as a treat occasionally. Although it can be a little pricey on our budget (with four small kids), the food is always excellent and the value is good. Love the crayons for the kids. Toilet facilities clean and good. Food amazing.

Approximate cost: $20

We eat here about once a month or so as a quiet treat away from the kids and work. My wife eats the vegetarian melt and I have the all day breakfast. Great value for money and good honest food. Quick service. Gets a bit hectic at midday with all the takeaway traffic, so get a table away from the front door.
