The second best fine dining experience I've ever had. I've been there twice and I've had both a 4 course dinner as well as the 7 course degustation menu The food is spectacular, the service is outstanding and it has a great atmosphere. The only better dining experience I've had was at Aria in Sydney.

Take visitors here all the time and they have never let us down.

Must try the strawberry tasting plate for dessert..... My absolute favourite

Great dining space that is perfect for business dinners where the view can assist with conversation or the no expense spared first date. The menu is looking a little tired these days due to the vast number of imitators around although execution was solid. Notwithstanding such imitation, Taxi remains a stalwart in the Melbourne food scene, albeit in need of a slight menu update.

The service was impeccable. The food was inventive and interesting, though as with all places like this, the portions are tiny for the price you pay. The view over Fed Square is amazing, especially at dusk. This is a really nice place to go out for as a treat.

Fine dining is a rarity for me these days, and my dinner at Taxi made me realise how much I miss the experience of going to a restaurant, and being treated like royalty. The service was great, and the food was amazing. Very filling and generous for the price. The decor and atmospher is beautiful, and its very easy to spend 3 or 4 hours savouring the experience.

Location you would think is everything with this place - on the top of federation square looking out over the yarra river and the sun setting, the food is fantastic also, the staff second to none - very educated on the whole menu! will be going back
