Taylors Fencing built a boundary timber fence for us 7 years ago and it has already decayed and needs replacing.

We had a retaining wall and Emu wire fences installed.
We have a very rocky location. Jason had the retaining wall job completed in 2 days and it looked great.
Paul did the rest of the construction of the fences and installed our gates....
We are extremely happy with the job that has been done ...Paul worked very hard and was very particular about his work....his workmanship was first class.
We are happy with the customer service we received and nothing was too much trouble.
We would recommend Taylor Fencing for your fencing requirements.

We paid our deposit in October 2019, and having waited for weeks, finally got the job done early December. The work was shoddy which we highlights to the company, two visits and promises and they never returned to fix the defects. Didn't collect the balance deposit either. Several reminders from us have gone in responded. We made a critical mistake by hiring Taylor Fencing.

Don't use Taylor Fencing, the worst experience you will ever have. If you want quality, good service and up front honest tradies then don't use Taylor Fencing.
I had both side boundary fencing done by them 2 years ago and they stuffed me around beyond believe. It took them 3 months to acknowledge my calls for them to come back and fix poor work. The so called owner eventually came out and agreed that everything went wrong on my job and there was some pretty poor work, promised to come back and fix but that was 2 years ago. I never paid the balance and they never chased it.
It proves that they have weighed up that it's cheaper for them to not return rather than fix the poor work, thanks Taylor Fencing for ripping me off and not giving a stuff about customer service.
I have also noticed that they are no longer at their address in Mountain Hwy Bayswater, hope they closed for good so no one else has to experience the nightmare.

Poor workmanship and no integrity!
Taylor Fencing Bayswater installed a palling fence at our rental property in February 2016. When we visited the property almost exactly 2 years later, we immediately noticed that our fence was leaning and warped. We were surprised that it was so badly warped only 2 years after being installed. At close examination one of the supporting posts on our neighbour’s side had become unstuck and was floating. This explained why it was leaning badly in this particular area. We contacted Taylors and they dodged any responsibility by saying the fence was outside their 12 month warranty period. They stated that ‘wet treated timber’ is not covered under any warranties due to the fact it moves, shrinks and warps as it dries out.
Where on their website or their quote form does it warned customers against using Wet treated timber? Why do other homes with similar timber not have warped and leaning fences within 2 years?
Once pressed, Taylor Fencing agreed to inspect our fence. It took 3 months of waiting, chasing and chasing for the fence to be inspected and to eventually be told, sorry it’s outside the warranty period and it’s not their problem. This time the excuse for our bowed fence was because it was painted on one side and not on both sides. However, nowhere in their reply did they address the issue of the floating post!
DO NOT USE TAYLOR FENCING! They have no integrity, poor customer service and poor workmanship! Do a google search and you’ll see that we are not the only ones that have had a bad experience and had posts come unstuck within a short period. It speaks volumes about the quality of the timber they use and their workmanship. We sort the opinion of two fencing companies, who both confirmed that this should not happen within 2 years, even with wet treated timber and if not repaired soon, our fence will fall down.

I had a fence erected by this company just over five years ago. Last year I noticed it had taken on a very bad lean towards our property. On close inspection I discovered that all the fence posts had rotted away to the point where there was absolutely nothing left below ground level.

At one point the fence meets another fence built over 25 years ago, and there are posts of the old and new fence less than half a metre apart. The old post has not rotted away at all, and is still sound, while the new one right beside it does not exist below ground level. Clearly they used the wrong posts, possibly untreated when they need to be treated. I don't know, I'm no expert, but I expect them to be.

When I called them about it, all they had to say was that I had signed an agreement that it had a 12 month warranty and so they wouldn't do anything except quote for a repair!

The Office of Fair Trading told me that the normally accepted standard for construction work like this is that it should last for 10 years.

So I can't recommend them at all, unless you are looking for a fence that is guaranteed to fall down in quick time.

I just recently had a new paling fence erected after the old fence was almost falling over and I found Taylor Fencing to be very competent and great at the speedy and officient way they erected my fence.

Now my back yard is very private from the neighbour.

We just had a new paling fence installed.

After dealing with several other fencing contractors, we found Taylor's Fencing very professional & efficient. The quality of the job is exceptional.

Approximate cost: $1955.00
