When I first walked in I thought this place was completely authentic Japanese. Great service, menu looked awesome. Then the food came out. I ordered Kyudon, but wait no ginger on kyudon? I soon figured they replaced kyudon with pickles.
Never the less kyudon itself tasted quite alright. We've tried their sashimi salad, katsudon, and a few others. they all tasted pretty decent.
gentlemen who was serving us was really polite, when we were paying he was asking me 'how I found the food and if there is a room for improvement'. You don't get that everyday. I thought that was super cool.
I wouldn't have docked a star from quality if I didn't feel like I was somewhat mislead in my first visit. Never the less best Japanese food around this area, quality service.
Oh their sushi rolls are above average too.
The cafe has contemporary style and serves nice coffee. It is normal packed with younger generation and serves good food.
