Thai Ayuthaya Restaurant

We've dined here many times, always loved it, but tonight it was great to see a new dinner menu (and lunch menu). With vegetarian options, it was only $19.90 for a huge meal per person, which included a spring roll, coconut soup, choice of curry/stir fry, and banana desert. Each item on their own was slightly smaller than normal, but as a whole it was a very large and filling meal, and fantastic value. It also included your choice of green tea, or jasmine tea which is something we hadn't tried before. The atmosphere is always great, meals are delivered quickly by friendly staff, and we will definitely be back, quite likely to test their new lunch menu.

Ayuthaya has a number of special and delicious dishes for which they are famous for. This restaurant only has a few of those, along with various cliched Thai foods.

Overall it is an okay Thai restaurant, especially for Chermside.

Lunch with the family actually turned out ok for once. A lunchtime treat of curry puffs and noodles, although its location is not desired, the menu and value for money made up for it. Already planning our next visit.

Excellent Thai food. Staff and service can be a bit slow, last time we went they were very busy and forgot about us. We were not happy, took over an hour to get entree then we were eating our main when they were packing up and setting up for the next day. We were not offered an apology or any compensation from the owner. She offered us a free dessert, it was so late we just wanted and had to get home to pay our babysitter. We were so angry at the lack of customer service recovery that we told them we were not paying and left. That is the first time we have ever done that! We will go back one day but are more aware next time.

Great for a casual but very nice dinner out. Food is very good and servings are generous. Staff are very friendly and helpful but can be a little slow with taking orders - but that fits in with the overall casual vibe. Recommend it.

Great food - we often take guests there and always have a fantastic meal. The massaman beef curry and thai beef salads are always great. I agree with a previous comment it is difficult to get water or other drinks. The staff are always polite and helpful although questions about whether any of the dishes could be prepared gluten free were met with some confusion. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Thai meal.

Yummy food and great service. Superb authentic Thai Restaurant. An extensive menu, everything I've ordered has tasted fantastic. Atmosphere quite good. Having lived in Thailand for many years and tasted great Thai food it is one of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten in in Australia.

When i and my husband visited that restaurant for having a nice night out .because it has a nice and clean atmosphere with a friendly staff.They were very welcome and meals were delicious.Also affordable prices.i recommend this restaurant for others.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is authentic and exciting and the staff could not be more friendly. Whether you are dining in or popping in for take away, the welcome is warm and the service is prompt and friendly.

Enjoyed dining here and the food was good, atmosphere was nice as well. The pad thai was a little dry, and not what I was used to, but still tasty none the less. Also tried a dish similar to a laksa which was very hot but still quite nice. Would go back but there are other restaurants I would go first.

Food is just the absolute best if you love Thai. I always get the red thai curry seafood mix. The girls are all dressed traditional and the mood is really relaxing. There is outdoor eating area or inside. You receive nibbles before your meal and it is also byo. Husband and son have had the hot hot thai and my god it is soooooooo hot. They sometimes forget when you order extra water though and you just have to re-ask and its there. The people are so pleasant and very helpful when your ordering you only have to ask.
