Value for $$$ is a no brainer here, such large servings at such a cheap price and tasty what do ya know!!! One dish is often enough for two people so keep that in mind, and it's BYO what more could you want. Nothing flash inside, so wouldn't invite clients there to eat, but great for a catch up with friends.

If you want a slice of Bangkok in Brunswick, this is the restaurant to be. Around five to six cooks at the front of the restaurant are non stop busy cooking all sorts of Thai dishes and the fragrance of their cooking permeates the restaurant. You can smell the authentic Thai flavors of chillies, fish sauce, curries and more. Their Pat Thai (Thai Glass noodles) is just like what you'd find in Bangkok at a busy store and the curries can be made so that they're not hot but full of flavor - have plenty of rice ready as you dine through different styles of curries. Realise that this is not your usual Thai restaurant, they don't do fish or prawn cakes - a limited menu of stir fries plus plus plus, but dishes are full of flavor.

Service can be a bit testy, you may need to flag down the waitress a few times to get what you want. I guess when you're that popular it's not always easy being a waitress here with everyone wanting things in a hurry!

After that, there's Gelo bar a few shops down - a great way to end the meal with some fantastic gelati!

This place has a great buzz and is always busy, with both take away and dining customers. The kitchen at the front, with flames leaping into the air, steam rising from woks, and freshly chopped ingredients adds a sense of Thai authenticity. There's a surprisingly large restaurant upstairs. Service is friendly and fast, and the flavours will keep you coming back.

Love this place. Food is YUMMO, fresh and a great serving size. The curries are the best I've ever tasted. Service isn't that good as it's difficult to understand most of the waitress. But you don't go there for the service or the atmosphere as the quality of the food and the value is worth the visit. It is crowded over the weekend so book or order take away.

The waitresses are great, you get heaps of tasty food for a very reasonable price. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because I don't like the atmosphere. It's very similar to other cheap Vietnamese/Chinese/Thai restaurants. There's just a cheap feel to everything. The utensils, the table, the seat, the noise generated by everyone which makes you have to shout at your friends. If you want cheap Thai food though, this is a great place.

This place makes delicious Thai food in huge servings! The butterfly dumplings are fantastic. The best thing is it's BYO. Bring a six pack and settle in for a couple of hours of great food.

Was introduced to this restaurant by a work mate and I have been on numerous occasions, I have sat both upstairs and downstairs. The food is fresh and I really like the Satay sticks - the sauce is to die for. Pad Thai is also another stand out.

Only negative is the noise upstairs- makes it really hard to hear what your fellow diners are saying as its just so loud. Certainly not a place for an intimate dinner for two, but for groups and familys its perfect.

Fantastic Thai food, the best I have been to. Very busy especially on Saturday evenings. It is quite small, crowded place but for the food it is worth it! Service is alright, sometimes you have to remind the waitresses of your orders. We always order the wide-ribbon noodles with black bean sauce and are never disappointed. Delicious!

This place is always busy and lively, the food is not the best or most traditional Thai food I've had but it's always good, there's plenty of it and it's good value.

Best in the summer when you can sit outside as it gets pretty noisy and crazy inside.
