Purchased runners for my son. Great service, knowledgeable, friendly staff who are genuine and not pushy (especially James A).

I wanted a pair of runners and they found me a pair of Brooks. I just about had a heart attack when I saw the price tag- at least $60 more than internet prices- I would pay a bit more for an actual shop but $60 for a 5 minute fit? The salesperson tried to reassure me they were mid-prices shoes.

This time I took my daughter in to get school shoes. We thought we'd get in a little early and beat the rush. We were amazed that the Athlete's Foot already had all their range of back to school shoes in and even had widths and half sizes. We told them what school my daughter goes to and they knew exactly what shoes were allowed at our school. The staff member used Fitprint to get the best shoe for my daughter and explained that the shoes have sports shoe technology in school shoes as children play more in their shoes at school than they do in sport (which makes sense). As we went to the counter to purchase the shoe we were told that we were up to our voucher in ClubFit (loyalty card) and that we can redeem our voucher straight away. Thstadd member then also said that $5 goes back to the school. It was an amzing experience for both my daughter and myself and, the only problem is that I cant get the shoes off my daughter.

Went into there new store and was amazed at the knowledge of the staff. I have been having trouble with my shoes wearing out quicker than normal and was told that the shoes may have been fitted incorrectly (I didnt tell them that I purchased them at another store originally) and therefore the shoe may have worn quicker. I was put over the computer footprint and I could see way I walked. The staff member then was watching the way I walked to make sure the fit was correct. I purchased the shoes and since then have not had a problem and my shoes have been lasting me over 12 months. Thanks guys and I will never shop anywhere again

I believed them when they said "I'VE NEVER MET A FOOT I COULDN'T FIT" - I went to buy a pair of sneakers. I am a 'B' width and it was stressed to the salesperson that if it wasn't that width, it would rip at the sides, as my last pair did (from another store). She reassured me & I took them home. The next day I put them on and was concerned as the sides of my feet were pressing out the sides of the sneakers badly. I returned to the store (I live 30 mins from Ballarat by the way) and said "was this a 'B' fitting?" to which she said "no, but it's a wider cut" and reasurred me they would not rip....
4 months later, I looked down at my shoes and they are beginning to rip at the sides!! I return to the store the next day (30 mins travel) and show them what is beginning to happen and I have taken my previous pair (from another store) so they will see the end product. Firstly, the woman says "it looks like you've caught it on something" to which i asserted that i was telling the truth & it was beginning to rip. All I wanted was an exchange. She said she would have to send the shoes back to the manufacturers and I could not have an exchange today. (I changed my mind and said I would be having a refund instead, but i couldn't have that either).
Therefore, if i had not taken my old pair of sneakers with me (which incidently had been sitting outside for 4 months), I would have had to leave the store in my socks!!
It was never about whether the goods were defective - the reason she said she had to return them to manufacturers - it was THEY WERE NOT FITTED PROPERLY!!!!
I have received a refund in the mail with no explanation. I went there because i thought i would get a proper fitting - but they are liars, with their fancy machine that does nothing - once you know your shoe sizing, you're better off (and cheaper!) going elsewhere and fitting yourself.

i love the device they use to see what shoes are suitable for you as an individual. the staff know the products well and know which shoes will give you the best support for their intended purpose.

I read on WOMOW that Athlete's Foot were really helpful in fitting the right shoes for the purpose you need so, seeing as my runners were falling apart, I thought I'd try them. Andrea served me and was fantastic. She asked what I was looking for, did the whole feet analysis and then showed me some appropriate runners for what I needed. They fit really well, support my feet and are so comfortable. Pretty expensive but I guess that's expected with runners nowadays.

Approximate cost: $180
